From the moment we arrived, Deb and Gary worked to make our stay more than just a place to stay while away from home. The venue itself has been restored to be reminiscent of its early 20th century origin while still providing the creature comforts of modern accommodations. The atmosphere is open and airy yet quiet and private and we were delighted to be greeted by deer each morning that can be seen wandering the Hill streets and alleys on their way to the water in the valley. If you ever need to get away and unplug yet prefer an in-town setting, Deb and Gary's 'Stable' AirBNB may be just the right taste of Medicine Hat you are looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s place in Medicine Hat. The bedrooms are spacious and roomy, perfect for a family needing multiple bedrooms. We loved the open concept living room/dining room and kitchen. We were able to be together all the time, even while preparing meals. There was more than enough of everything - lots of towels for everyone both for the bathroom and hot tub. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked - pots/pans/dishes/plastic storage containers for left overs/plastic wrap/bbq utensils/serving utensils. The weather was perfect to use the hot tub. The house is minutes to the Mall, restaurants and local attractions. We recommend this place to anyone needing a spacious place to stay!

Very pleased with this property. Spacious interior and great useful outdoor spaces, with the use of a BBQ included. All mentioned amenities were available. Plenty of dishes and cutlery. Appreciated the coffee pods. Would definitely consider booking this property again. Host responded very quickly to queries.

We stayed at Abby’s Retreat for a birthday getaway celebration and it was the perfect place to stay! Clean, roomy, well thought out floor plan, comfortable, amazing linens, modern and updated rooms and all the extras you want when staying away from home…..to name a few! The fire pit area is so cute and I love how there is firewood beautifully set out for you. The coffee station with everything you need is such a treat in the morning 😊 Then to top off our stay, we walked in to find a completely unexpected birthday gift! It was honestly so thoughtful and made my day 🥰 Thank you so much and we will definitely stay next time we are in Medicine Hat!

Had a wonderful stay at the Starlit Burrow and would highly recommend it to those seeking a quiet and tranquil space. We were not disappointed with the rolling prairie vistas in nearly every direction. Nicola and Channon were exceptional hosts. Quick to respond, flexible (as we needed to alter our original check-in), and accommodating with thoughtful touches. The cabin itself has both modern features (oversized doors, ample bathroom/shower) and a rustic vibe. Great decor, comfortable bed/couch, exceptionally clean, and remarkably well-stocked. Really enjoyed the outdoor space including the fire pit area, barbecue, and deck. The outdoor chairs were incredibly comfortable. Their home is situated close to Elkwater, which itself is a very charming resort village with trails and boardwalks along the lakeshore - great for dog walks! There is nothing not to love about the location, and hope to return some day.

Was an easy and awesome stay! Had a longer stay than usual and Terri was very accommodating.

If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful setting in a clean place that is not 5 star but very comfortable and roomy this is a great option! The host was friendly and helpful.

It was a great weekend. The house is cozy and clean in a very nice quiet area where we could walk in the evening. Kelly was always in touch and helped us navigate the city. I will definitely come back again.

Great loft apartment that had everything you need. It was surprisingly very quiet considering it was downtown. Roof top patio and hot tub was very nice. Host was very responsive to any questions we had and was very accommodating.

We stayed at Murray's lodge back in August with some friends and haven't stopped thinking about his kindness and his beautiful property. We came back again this week, and it's just as breathtaking as the first time we had the privilege of spending time there. You can tell Murray takes very good care of the lodge and his land, and that he puts a lot of heart into it. If you are looking to disconnect for a while and just be with nature, this is the place. My partner and I spent a lot of time venturing out on the land and down to the river to take in the stunning views, just enjoying the bird sounds, cows, and warm sun and wind. Photos just don't do this stay justice. The lodge itself is a much-needed break from city life, and grants you a cozy stay with just about every amenity you need to be comfortable after a day of exploring and embracing the unique terrain. Murray, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during our stay. We look forward to staying with you again soon.
