If you're looking for a unique way to experience nature that still offers the comforts of home, come see what Yurt Life is all about! Tucked away in a manzanita grove and perched on a cliff with the river below, the space offers privacy, views, and close access to the river. This little yurt packs a big punch: kitchenette, comfy lounge chairs, queen bed, table, wifi and ceiling fan. And rather than being a dreaded experience, the attached bathroom with epic views is one of the best features!

Walking amongst the majestic redwoods, along one of our nations cleanest and most biodiverse rivers, is truly a sight to behold and an experience to be had. Keep a look out for elk, eagles, bears and Bigfoot.

Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. Air mattress also available for more than 4 guest. Were on 3.5 acres on gravel road tucked in redwoods. Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.
