Our stay at Rodney's guest house was perfect to visit Bocas and explore everything it and the archipelago had to offer. The location is perfect - right by the water with quick water taxi access to everywhere we wanted to visit. The convenience of getting around made our trip so much more enjoyable. Rodney is truly a rare breed of host - attentive, responsive, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. His communication was excellent from booking through checkout. He provided clear instructions and was always available to answer questions or offer local recommendations. The guest house itself was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. We can't recommend Rodney's place highly enough and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for making our trip so special!

¡Una joya escondida en medio de la naturaleza! La cabaña estaba impecable, muy cómoda y exactamente como se muestra en las fotos. Nuestra estadía en esta cabaña rodeada de árboles fue excelente. El lugar es aún más hermoso en persona, con vistas espectaculares, espacios limpios y acogedores, y un ambiente de tranquilidad total. Perfecto para desconectarse y disfrutar con familia o amigos. El anfitrión fue muy atento y se aseguró de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario. ¡Definitivamente volveríamos! Muy recomendado para quienes buscan paz, aire fresco y belleza natural.

We had a wonderful stay at Red Frog Island Beach Resort, where Brett's house is located. The house is great, with a wonderful pool and grounds, large bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, and a nice kitchen. Brett was communicative, often responding within minutes of my emails. He was also accommodating when questions or challenges arose. The resort is also great! The villas are spaced very far apart within a large forested area. My kids loved seeing sloths, monkeys, and red frogs. The Beach Club restaurant has a diverse menu and reasonable prices, and is well located next to a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Just past the pool is a great beach for walking along, wading in, and even doing some body boarding. The resort has an adequately stocked store, as well as a spa. Unless you enjoy walking and have time and energy for it, I recommend renting a golf cart during your stay. Having a golf cart made it much easier to get around.

Ce logement est sublime. Nous sommes perchés au milieu des arbres avec vue mer. C’était propre et bien équipé (gel douche, shampooing, crème, liquide vaisselle, éponge, de nombreuses serviettes de bains, peignoirs,…). Nous y sommes sentis très bien. A noter également que le lit est extrêmement moelleux, nous avons très bien dormi! Malheureusement nous avons eu 2j de pluie + vent, ce qui a rendu le salon/salle à manger inexploitable pendant ces deux jours. Si la météo est clémente en revanche, je recommande à 100% ce petit havre de paix. Les hôtes sont réactives et très sympathiques. Les instructions pour arriver au logement ont été très claires et nous ont permis de guider le conducteur de bateau à destination. L’arrivée autonome avec une boîte à clé fut pratique! Really fun place to stay. Was bigger than we expected and kids loved the lookout bedroom. Walter was super helpful with taxi numbers and advise on good places to visit. There is a nice small beach that was good to chill on just a 5-10 min walk and taxis to further afield were easy to arange via whatsa msg.

Cecilia and her husband are wonderful hosts; very friendly and responsive. The apartment is located in a beautiful location where jungle and beach intersect. It is very peaceful. Beautiful sunrises. There are a few very good restaurants within walking distance and Bocas town is a very short drive or long walk ( I did walk it once). A couple things I really appreciated that I wish more Airbnbs did were the non-toxic stainless steal cookware and a yoga mat that were provided. If I return to Bocas I will look for this listing’s availability.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to, fell in love with the “rinconcito” forever already planning on our next time there… soooo cozy clean, Prestine, ideal for a romantic get away gives you the sensation of being in a luxury and secluded piece of paradise with the clear waters and golden sand of a private island type of feeling…. Definitely Top list place from now on.

I can not recommend Angel’s Villa (in the Villas of Punta Uva) enough. The home itself was beautiful, spotless, and comfortable. The house is situated in such a lush area that is beautifully landscaped and maintained. It is in a small community of 5 houses, but Angel’s Villa was very private and quiet, and so surrounded by foliage that you couldn’t really see it from the parking area. There was also a locked gate, so it felt very safe. Linh was very responsive to my many questions about the area and was helpful in suggesting activities, restaurants, etc. Both she and her husband were very friendly and made us feel right at home (her husband even went above and beyond, spending about an hour pulling my rental car out of a ditch😬). The area: Punta Uva Beach is a short five minute walk from the house. Puerto Viejo, the nearest town, is about 5 miles north. There, we found many boutiques/souvenir shops, and a plethora of amazing restaurants. This was a 10/10 find!!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin in the middle of the jungle for 2 weeks. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen possessed all the essentials. We loved waking up with the sound of the birds or jungle rain. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The host provided many board games and yoga mats which were a nice touch. Steve and Victoria were very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended!
