The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for everyone.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Once a barn for tack and hay, now a peaceful studio suite with all of the modern amenities, including a full bath, kitchen, and laundry. Play with goats or relax on the swing to watch cows & horses graze. Our animals are also pets and we welcome yours! Choose your adventure! Saddlewood Ranch is surrounded by trails, between 2 lakes (5 minutes), yet close to town and Camp Grayling. Whether you seek serenity or adventure, your get away awaits!

Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

If you are into trail riding/snowmobiling you can access the trails easily from the home. There is a fire-pit to sit around enjoying s'mores. Enjoy beverages on the large covered porch overlooking the woods. You may even see a red fox. Three bedrooms and two baths inside gives you plenty of space. New Weber Grill .

Jims Cabin on AuSable River with AC

Historic river cabin on the famed AuSable River. Newly remodeled the cabin is nestled along the 'holy water', a fly's only catch and release section of the AuSable. The cabin has two bedrooms one bath and kitchen- living area combined. Outdoor grill with fire pit on the river bank with firewood. Wadable fishing right out the cabin door. Pets are considered, dogs only. Breed and number of dogs to be disclosed at time of inquiry. Pet fee / $50.00 per stay Owners live on property.

Escape to our charming cabin, perfect for couples and small families seeking a serene retreat. Nestled on a spacious 2-acre property, this cabin includes a fenced in backyard, a gas grill for culinary adventures, and a cozy fire pit ready to ignite unforgettable memories. We welcome up to two pets, each weighing under 50 pounds. For your furry friends' safety and comfort, we kindly request that they either be crated or accompanied at all times during your stay.

The Castaway on the Ausable River Holy Waters

Tucked into the tall pines alongside the Holy Waters. The Castaway offers an amazing location for enjoying all the AuSable has to offer. Just outside the kitchen guests will enjoy an outdoor area & firepit. The deck around the front of the home has a grill and river front view. The cabin itself sits about 200 feet back from the river. Entry into the river off the property is ankle deep rocky bottom. This is not a party destination.
