The Alpine A-Frame

The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs. Inside is a small living room, kitchenette, toilet room, shower room, queen size bed, twin size bed in the loft, the couch is a futon sleeper. If you've ever wondered what a tiny home is like, now is your chance to experience it in the Alpine A! We are less than 7 minutes from Boone.

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill can comfortably sleep 8 guests. You will love the huge deck & the large hot tub. The property sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills & 2 small ponds. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated full basement with a set of bunk beds, a queen bed, and a large sectional sofa and TV. This is a perfect spot for kids or teens!

The loft is separate from our house, privacy assured. Enjoy our friendly chickens, walk in our gardens. 12 minutes from Boone. 15 minutes to ASU. Cozy, modern. Fast Internet. Pet free space. We designed Helen's to be family friendly and in the hopes of providing everything you will need for a cozy and enjoyable stay in the North Carolina mountains.

This lovely weekender or longer-term getaway retreat is +- 750 square feet of cozy comfortable space. It is a very nicely appointed rustic cabin of modern studio design. It has everything you need for that affordable vacation away from it all and is nestled on a prominent site among 15 surrounding acres of lush forest. Build a fire in the wood burning fireplace or outside in the firepit. Grill outside, sit and listen to the birds.
