Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

Corowa, birthplace of Federation, on the banks of the mighty Murray ,over which there are the wineries and restaurants of North Eastern Victoria to enjoy.

Situated midway between Melbourne and Sydney it is ideal stop over. Ideally located to the snow, wineries, gourme region, lakes or for just chilling. Victoria House is a 1950’s weatherboard classic in the heart of Corowa. A short walk to Sanger St, the Corowa Whisky and Chocolate Factory and only a 200m stroll to the Majestic Murray River (at the end of the street) guests won’t need to get the car out! Victoria house is a 7 minute drive to Rutherglen and the surrounding wineries. Closer to All Saints, St Leonard’s, Cofields and Pfeifers Wineries than Rutherglen. Corowa is 30 minutes drive to Albury Wodonga and Yarrawonga Mulwala.
