Heart of Gold in Gibbston Valley

Original Historic Goldminers Stone Cottage located on the Gibbston River, bike and walking trail with easy access to local wineries. Featured in the latest edition of the NZ Lonely Planet guide - This award winning beautifully restored original Goldminers cottage dates back to 1874. Set in the heart of Gibbston Valley with 360 degree views of the Nevis Bluff, Mt Rosa and Waitiri station the cottage provides a peaceful and relaxing base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage interior is an open plan studio layout with a cosy sitting area at one end with a partly screened bedrrom area at the other end, with an adjacent separate bathroom. The bathroom is spacious with separate shower and bath. The bedroom area features a queen bed and you walk through to the lounge, dining and kitchenette area. The kitchen features a stove top and microwave combo oven. Fridge, kettle and toaster. The cottage is great for 2 guests, but can sleep 2 additional guests on the sofa bed in the sitting area, as this converts to a double bed and full linen is supplied. Cuddle up in front of the warm cosy fire, relax and unwind. Walking distance to 3 local wineries and walking trails to Nevis Bluff, Mt Rosa and Coal Pit Road. Situated directly on the new Gibbston River Trail you can bike to the Gibbston Tavern, Peregrine Winery, Gibbston Valley winery and AJ Hacket Bungy bridge. Then continue directly onto the Queenstown Trails to Arrowtown and Queenstown from the door. Easy access to the Gibbston Valley station new Rabbit Ridge bike trails recently opened. Gibbston is 10 minutes drive to Arrowtown and 20 minutes to Queenstown Airport. Cromwell and Bannockburn are 20mins drive. Wanaka is 40mins either via the Crown Range or by going through Cromwell. The cottage is easy access to all activities in and around Queenstown and very handy to the many ski fields in both Queenstown and Wanaka in the winter. Set in its own garden on our 6 acre property where we built a Strawbale house you are welcome to visit the horses, collect eggs from our chickens and pat our sheep. Help yourself to our seasonal produce from the garden. Bikes are available for use to explore the trails Firewood is supplied Outdoor furniture and a BBQ are provided for outdoor living *Linen supplied and included with rental. *Visitors to clean-up and leave the property as found.

We welcome you to come and stay in a beautiful piece of paradise! Our architecturally designed little home by award winning architect, Anna-Marie Chin is nestled against beautiful exposed schist rock in a stunning landscape. There are 3 acres of land to roam on and the views from the land are stunning! The lounge has north facing high angled windows allowing all day sun and provides stunning views of the hills beyond and the gorgeous Central Otago landscape. From the west sliding doors and the built in window seat you have stunning views of the Remarkables. The Queenstown trail is right outside your door so it is a fabulous location for walking and biking. Come and stay and see for yourself!

Bannockburn Hotel & Black Rabbit Café (Please check opening days & hours, as they vary with the seasons) are a short stroll from our gate Panoramic views of wineries, orchards & along the Kawarau river. 100 metres to the Lake Dunstan Cycle trail. We are about most of the time & only to happy to help make your stay memorable.

A short stroll from picturesque Old Cromwell, enjoy a comfortable stay at this tastefully renovated studio. The one-room studio has everything you need - A main living space with queen bed, lounge area, kitchenette and dining, and a separate spacious bathroom. Carefully selected furnishings and artwork adorn the space, to create a stylish yet cozy feel. High windows provide privacy and capture the hills surrounding Cromwell. Outside, enjoy a glass of wine on the private, sun-drenched patio.

Amazing mountain views above Gibbston' s famous winery area. High up away from the noisy road we have 5 acres of garden. Your apartment, with its own front door is attached to our home but feels very private. It is newly redecorated with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room. Two bedrooms both with shower ensuites , one a king bed and the other a king or 2 single beds. Enjoy our log burning fire or go outside and enjoy the outdoor brazier while sipping a local wine and stargazing.

"Cherry Cottage" A touch of class in Cromwell

Cherry Cottage is a luxurious, one bedroomed getaway designed in a classic Central Otago architectural style. The cottage is positioned amongest a working orchard on sunny Ripponvale Road where stone fruit, grapes and of course cherries are abundant. Positioned to enjoy the sun with large timber decks ideal to take in the view and striking sunsets with a glass of local Pinot Noir. Located 5 mins from Cromwell, 40 mins from Wanaka and 45 minute drive to Queenstown and International Airport.

The Guest House @ Cherry Tree Farm

Welcome to Cherry Tree Farm, Cromwell. Stay in our beautiful self contained guest house set within the gardens of our urban farm and cherry orchard. The Guest House comprises an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The living area has a sofa and a daybed. A separate bedroom offers a Queen bed and there is a bathroom with shower. The living area can also be converted to accomodate either 2 single beds or a king double. This makes The Guest House a perfect space for up to 4 people.

Excellent stand alone studio cottage in a handy location. Situated approx. 3km from the town center with a feel of country. Suitable for a single person, couple or 2 friends/family that don't mind sharing a queen bed. Very peaceful location and close to the new bike/walking tracks, lake, river, and numerous vineyards. Only 40 minutes approx. to Queenstown and Wanaka, 20 minutes to the historic town of Clyde and further 10 minutes to Alexandra. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Cosy 3 bedroom fully self contained Cottage, north facing in a garden setting, peaceful and private, close to Lake and Town Centre. Close to the many Winery's around the Cromwell area. Central drive to Queenstown and Wanaka area, Clyde and Alexandra. Golf course near by. Four Skifields nearby, Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Cardrona & Treble Cone less than 1 hour away. The newly opened Highlands Motorsports Park is 6 km away. The new cycle trail will be open at the end of 2020.
