As the train rolls by, history that engineered Glacier Park's roots romances enchantment of the pasts rustic essence. The RR winds through tunnels and trestles along the south border of the park and was originally the only way to visit Glacier. Light sleeper could have problem with the train noise. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

This cozy home is our “Smokey the Bear” cabin. There is a driveway that can fit 2 cars next to the home. “Smokey” is just a 7-minute drive to the main entrance to Glacier Park. The home sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids comfortably. (8 allowed if at least 2 of the guests are young kids.) The home has a covered deck, full-home AC and heating, gas fireplace, back yard with fire pit, desk/work area, and pull-out sofa if needed. We will give an additional discount for booking for 2 months or more.
