Spot deer, ducks or “Blue”, our resident blue heron. Adventure is in the air at the Hollow. Or nap in the hammock.

Cheerful 3 Bedroom Cottage with Fire Place

We are happy to still offer some dates for September. Come enjoy the solitude of the beach as the tide ebbs & flows. Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. Enjoy strolls on the beach located just out the back door or a sunset meal on the back porch. This wonderful cottage offers everything you will need during your stay. Including, comfortable beds, beach strolls and a bright upgraded kitchen with many amenities. The 3 bedrooms will fit up to 8 people comfortably.

Cozy cottage 5 minutes from UConn

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. Fully Renovated Rural Barn

Newly renovated barn on a quiet rural road yet close to all the attractions of Southern Litchfield County. The light-filled barn has two large patio doors into a substantial living and entertaining area with a large sectional sofa-bed, a dining table for 10 and adjacent kitchen area with an island. There is a downstairs washroom. A large light-filled upstairs sleeping area has a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. Outside is a patio dining area and parking in a dedicated driveway.

The Cottage on Babbling Brook

A cozy, rustic cottage beautifully overlooking Wimsink Brook. Custom designed & handcrafted woodwork throughout the home. An all around great spot for families and friends. A magical, peaceful and relaxing space. Conveniently located on the Connecticut/New York border, just a 1 ½ hour drive or metro north from NYC. The area is a prime location, as it offers some of the most stunning and scenic hikes & drives in the country. Only a 10 minute drive from Kent, New Milford or Pawling.

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two two-person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1.
