Docktails is where it's at. This amazing dockside retreat is indeed ten steps from the water and affords you every amenity needed to enjoy a fantastic time on or just at the water. We spent a few days on Lake Waccamaw and appreciated what Lake Life had to offer at Docktails. We were greeted by a stocked kitchen, well-appointed features throughout the home, and a community sharing-type approach to hospitality throughout the property. Hosts Lisa and Terra were very responsive to our needs and ensured our stay was pleasant. We will definitely be bringing out tails back to Ducktails next time we visit sweet Lake Waccamaw!!!

Lynda was excellent at communication. The rental was exactly as described super quiet, and peaceful. The sunset view on the dock was breathtaking. The one thing that stood out about this rental was it clean and comfortable. I have to say also Check out instructions were super easy. Thank you so much and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Phenomenal is all we can say!!! The only reason we left out, was to go to the grocery store!!! The Cypress Cottage was everything we imagined!!! The smiles on my children’s faces when they caught their fish off the pier was worth every penny spent!!! We caught gar, catfish, sunfish & many nice sized bass!!! We will definitely be returning for another visit soon!!! Thanks Again Laura for sharing your lil piece of heaven with my family!!! Great memories were made!!!

Had the pleasure of spending some time at Bella camp site over the weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. Walking in you could tell there was a lot of thought and care when creating this space. Looking forward to coming back!

A beautiful home! Well kept with a detailed guest book and everything you need to cook, relax, and play. The shower in the master bath is tiny but wasn’t problematic for us. Also, there is a strong dog smell in the master bedroom but some room spray masked it well enough. It is listed as a pet friendly home so not complaining just noting it. Getting in and out of the home is very easy. Michael and Kathryn have thought of everything and respond very quickly to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the home, the beautiful yard, very nice outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. We only live about 45 minutes from Lake Waccamaw and go there often but being able to walk out the back door, down the dock, and get on our boat for a day of play was awesome! This is like a dream home for us! My teenager even said, “I could live here!” 🙂 So happy they are willing to share their home with us! We loved every minute!

We thoroughly enjoyed the views and pool table! The host was great and very responsive to any questions we had!

We cannot say enough good things about Nancy's Pelican House or about Nancy herself! The house was perfect,a place to lay our heads and relax after a long day at the beach.The house is less than a 10-minute drive to Holden Beach. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel, and she provided everything we needed. Although the house is older, it has been beautifully remodeled and decorated. Our favorite spot was the screened-in front porch. Now, to brag about Nancy—she made our stay exceptional! She is the best host I have ever had with Airbnb. Nancy genuinely cares about her guests' well-being during their stay. She thoughtfully provided brochures and take-out menus, which were very helpful. Halfway through our stay, she messaged us to check in because she hadn't heard from us, showing her attentiveness and care. Nancy was always easy to talk to and responded promptly to our messages. Overall, Nancy's Pelican House is a gem, and Nancy herself is a fantastic host. We highly recommend!
