Stayed in the Spoolmak cottage and it was very cozy and homey. The hosts were very friendly. The cottage has plenty of amenities which was great for cooking. Would definitely come back!

Cordwood Chalet is a beautiful escape from hustle bustle. it's tucked away off the road and feels very peaceful. you can sense, just from the energy of the place, how much love was poured into the walls. there are some lovely hikes around as well. thank you Priscilla & John!

What an incredible stay, it was the perfect way to finish off our 2 week honeymoon. The cabin is perfectly secluded but super easy to access all the amenities Julie has on offer, including Archery which was great fun on our last day. Although we didn’t see a bear, we were treated to the most amazing northern lights we’ve ever seen-it was mind blowing! The cabin also has phone reception (just) if you sit on the bed upstairs!

Nous avons passé une super semaine de février 2025 dans ce petit Chalet. Les consignes et indications très clairs nous ont permis de trouver notre chemin du premier coup margés la nuit et la neige qui venait de tomber. Bien que le chemin ai été déneigé, notre petit SUV Walkwagen AWD qui nous a bien été utile pour les 200 dernier mètres. Le parking sous le auvent du chalet permet de décharger nos bagages au sec. De plus un petit feux de cheminé nous attendait , c'était vraiment extra. Le chauffage électrique est aussi très efficace. Nous étions une famille de 4. Nous sommes installé dans la chambre et nos deux enfants de 17 et 20 ans se sont installés sous les toit au dessus du salon. Attention de ne pas se cogner la tête là haut. Mais c'est super cosy ; les enfants ont adorés. Juste un petit conseil pour la cheminée : Une petite fiche pratique pourrait être un plus pour les utilisateurs non habitués. Encore Merci Christina. The cabin was absolutely comfortable and clean. It’s very quiet and fresh in the trees. Snow was melting and making the experience even better resting while listening to the melting snow and birds’ chatting. We had a very good time here, very peaceful and relaxing. Love it!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the cabin was perfect. Very very clean, and beautifully finished - wood interior was lovely and cabin was extremely well insulated and cozy. Deck was an added bonus and the kitchen was well stocked. We hope to be back again!

We had a great stay in the cabin! We mostly stayed inside and were able to play cribbage and sip a cozy beverage by the propane fireplace. It had everything we needed and although compact, very functional.

Thank you so much for hosting us in the "tiny" cabin. It was a perfect spot for hunker down after a day of hiking. Everything was clean and comfortable! The view from the back deck was amazing.

This was a peaceful space that had my wife dreaming of a future house, and rock gardens. We loved our stay; would recommend 10/10! lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Bathroom/showerhouse is separated from main, but was no issue for us.

Frances was super nice and helpful and reached out about a week before our trip. She let us know there was construction which might increase the time it takes to drive in which was helpful to know. She responded almost immediately when we had questions. The cabin was chilly on arrival but has two space heaters and a wood fireplace, with wood and fire starting supplies right out front on the front door on the deck. The cabin is only 10 minutes from town with great pubs and little cafes. The only thing I would be mindful of is if you plan to take trips to Banff or Yoho, which we had planned, the trip is much longer (around three hours) when highway 1 is closed. Not sure how long they plan to have construction there. Often times the highway opens up on the weekends though. So just make sure you plan accordingly!

If you’re looking for a hassle-free process and a place that’s built with passion and care, this is your option. Privacy, check! Landscape, absolutely check! All the necessary household items, check! Air conditioning, check! Supportive & responsive host? Of course. If you’re planning to chill out there (not just looking for a place to rest for a night), make sure to book at least two nights, otherwise you’ll regret it. Thanks Lois, it was truly a “good Friday “ for us :) BTW, the projector was a great idea.

It was a beautiful cabin in the woods! Check in was a breeze and the place was very clean and super cosy. Washer and dryer were very useful as well. We loved the loft and watching the sunrise every morning! Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials you would need and the appliances were all brand new. Dustyn made very good recommendations and was very responsive as well. We would highly recommend staying here if you want a unique holiday experience! Thank you for hosting us :)

We had our first family adventure weekend and this was exactly what we were looking for! Something unique, clean, a home away from home. We had a little bit of difficulty finding the site but the host answered right away and within a minute we found it! The small little touches make a world of difference here! We will stay again!

We loved our stay! The kitchen, though small (again, totally in line with what is described/what you’d expect) is very well appointed and we loved walking down by the river. We read books on the beach and had a lovely camp fire-even brought our own discs for some disc golf! It’s somewhat remote but the instructions and maps for finding it were extremely clear and the wifi was solid. The scenery is second to none and it was great having Golden a short drive away-the hosts even proactively let us know about a farmers market which we were able to pop into town and enjoy.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming Airbnb in Golden, BC. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the mountains that made our stay even more special. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy and smooth. Even though our stay was short, it was incredibly enjoyable and comfortable. We would definitely love to come back for a longer visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location!

We stayed at the cabin for a quick overnight between long travel days, and it was the ideal place for us to rest and rejuvenate right off the main highway. The cabin had everything we need and more - where else can you find a place with a king bed, AC, steam shower, fireplace, kitchen and hottub that allows two dogs? Check-in to check-out was effortless, space was clean and what we needed!

This cabin was exactly I needed. I loved how private and secluded it was. I travel quite regularly and I do mostly stays in cabins like Luise's. But Louise's cabin was by far the most cosiest one. I loved that there was a plenty of firewood outside ( I got to practise my choppin skills with an axe) :D And had the possibility to have an outdoor fire under the stars. I did appreciated that there was no wifi or reception, which helped me to disconnect with the outside world and enjoy ME time by the fire and read a book. I hope I stick around as I would love to come back for a longer weekend. Thank you Louise

My brother and I were finishing our BC ski tour of 5 ski resorts and previously we stayed between 2 and 3 nights at each resort location. This beautiful, new, clean, and cozy cabin was our last accommodation and was absolutely the best of all five locations. It is a about 10 minutes from Golden however there is local taxi service available which we found convenient for transportation for dining and entertainment in Golden. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved our stay at Snowberry cabin with our two pups! We wanted to get out of town for a quiet weekend. The cabin offered more than we could have asked for. The property was quiet and beautifully put together. The cabin was very clean, quiet, and cozy. We hope to be back soon!
