We had such a wonderful stay at Clare's home. The hosue is comfortable and the pool was perfect for beating the summer heat! The door to the pool is off the family rooom area but it is easily closable for keeping young kids away from teh pool if needed. The house is tastefully decorated with some homey additions like books and toys. We found it difficult to choose where to sit-- outside on the front porch or our by the pool lounge area. Although the house is not close enough to town to walk the location is very central and wooded. The view out the back is really wonderful. This is a great place for a family or anyone looking for an authentic Nevada City stay. Highly recommend!

Big and interesting house! Lovely deers around!

I absolutely recommend Paul’s place! It was astonishingly peaceful and great forest views. The bathroom was clean and had a decent amount of toiletries , as well as kitchen for cooking. the bed frames do creak a bit but that’s normal I believe since they are made out of wood . But everything else was superb! He is a very attentive host and will even give you info on trails, for hiking, and lakes for fishing! Overall 9 out of 10 and would come back . Thanks Paul ☺️

This place was as described! Very relaxing getaway! He is a responsive host, which was helpful. Super clear instructions and would not hesitate to come back again in the future. It was a nice getaway, close to some fun bilking trails and good eatery spots in town!

We had a great stay in Coloma in the cottage, the river setting was beautiful and relaxing and the house had everything we needed!

This was our second time staying here. We LOVE this house! This house is clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. The girls (a group of deer) were in our yard several mornings and afternoons. Enjoyed making meals in the wonderful kitchen. Wish it was our own house!

Lucí was a great host! Very attentive. The space was perfect for our large group. The toiletries she had put were life savers as some of our group forgot a toothbrush or lotion. Would stay again!

I have to echo the other reviews: I stay in a lot of airbnbs, and this is one of the nicest ones I've ever stayed at. Every item, piece of furniture, and fixture was simply exactly where you expected it to be, and of very high quality. Total opposite of those Ikea special soulless spots that plague this app. It felt more like staying in a thoughtfully prepared guesthouse of a friend, if you were lucky enough to have a friend with such a place.

This sweet cottage in Grass Valley was clean, well maintained and well located if you enjoy being able to walk into town for coffee, a meal or shopping. It has a fenced back/front yard which made it a great place to have a dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. New bathroom fixtures and plenty of hot water made for a nice end to of the day shower. I loved being close to town as we were there during the Cornish Christmas celebrations so it was an easy walk for the celebrations as well as getting a few presents for the family. Being so close to town you do hear a bit of traffic but it was not an issue for our family. Thank you Trish for sharing your home!
