The living space on the first floor makes the most of this view, facing East for perfect sunrises. Ballyhalbert is a small village on the Ards peninsula, the most Easterly point on the island of Ireland.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

Situated in a quiet corner of a working farm yard, the accommodation boasts a Super King bed, luxurious shower room & Wifi, among vintage furnishings. Nestled among the drumlins of Strangford Lough, 1 mile from the charming village of Greyabbey.

The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.

Relax at Seapray Cottage. The perfect place to unwind and explore the Ards Peninsula. Beachfront location. Nearby attractions include Kirkistown Golf Course, Portaferry Aquarium and Strangford Lough Ferry. Modern, private house. Open plan kitchen/dining area with amazing views over Cloughey Bay. Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Historic Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage. #1

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.

The Loft, Cloughey

The Loft, Cloughey is a recently refurbished top floor apartment finished to a superb standard. Everything you need for your seaside break has been provided. The balcony at the front of the property has views towards Scotland and the Isle of Man and is a perfect place to enjoy your early morning coffee or the evening sunset with a nice glass of wine. The rear views take in Kirkistown Golf Club and Kirkistown Castle.
