Romantic, Stone House with Ocean Views
Unwind at this stunning French Provencal beachside cottage. The house was lovingly built with stone floors, high-beamed ceilings, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel. Enjoy the sea and mountain views from the pool, lush garden and private patio leading off the living area Beautiful French Provencal stone cottage set in private indigenous garden overlooking Llandudno beach. The cottage was lovingly built with exceptional attention to detail, including stone floors, high beamed ceilings, antique light fittings, French wrought iron work and wooden shutters. It comprises a double bedroom with French doors leading onto private gravel patio with sea and mountain views and breakfast table shade by tall proteas, bathroom with bath and shower tiled in travertine (also mountain views!), lounge with kitchenette and covered "sundowner" patio with magnificent sea views. The lounge and kitchenette are fully equipped with TV, fridge, convection microwave, hot plates, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee machine etc. There is a stone table and chairs on patio where you can sip your cocktails at sunset as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while overlooking the ocean. The beautifully furnished bedroom comprises a queen-sized bed with down duvet, French antique linen and cotton quilt. Fluffy white bath towels as well as beach towels and umbrella are provided. The Victorian roll-top bath has wonderful mountain and garden views through sash windows The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden planted with indigenous plants as well as an assortment of cooking herbs, which you are encouraged to use. Guests are welcome to make use of the large swimming pool and pool loungers located next to the cottage. We also have access to squash and tennis courts as well as a yoga school located 300m from the cottage. The beach is ± - 5min walk away. There is under-floor heating throughout and a gas fire place in the lounge for cosy winter evenings Guests have access to lbeautiful landscaped garden and arge swimming pool. Cottage is a 4min walk down to the beach Owner lives on the property in a separate private residence and is always available for advice on dining, site seeing etc Situated in the spectacular enclave of Llandudno which is on the Altantic coast between Camps Bay and Hout Bay. Llandudno beach with its fine white sand and curling surfing waves is one of the finest in Cape Town, but due to the limited parking is kept unspoilt and for used mainly by locals. Shops and restaurants are a 5min drive away and Table MOuntain 10min, V&A; Waterfront 25min, Constantia Winelands 20min and Cape POint 35min.The sunsets over the Altantic Ocean viewed from the cottage patio are spectacular. LLandudno is on the MY Citi bus route to town centre Camps Bay, Hout Bay and V&A A Waterfront Cottage is serviced daily from Mon to Fri Check in is from 3pm- 6pm unless prior arrangements have been made Check out is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made Guests have access to beautiful landscaped garden and large swimming pool. Cottage is a 4min walk down to the beach. There is also access to tennis courts situated 4 min walk from cottage. Although shops and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. The V&A Waterfront is a great day out for shopping, visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium, and taking Robben Island boat trips. If you are getting around - there is a very reliable bus transport system called MyCiTi. It’s safe & reliable. Also open-top Sightseeing buses are a great way to see the City and surrounds. But mostly visitors and locals use Uber - its quick, fast & cheap. The 2nd & 3rd Bedrooms don't have TV's. PLEASE NOTE: The home is situated on Clifton Steps street which is a flight of steps from the road, up or down, to the home depending on which way you arrive from. So you will have to climb steps. There is no private parking.

Situated on the Western Cape’s famous Atlantic Seaboard, Clifton is noted for the shelter it is given from the prevailing South Westerly winds during April to March and protection from the North Westerly winds in the winter time. Its four dazzling white granite sand beaches are separated by granite boulders. All the beaches are Blue Flag which means that safety is maximised and the impact of tourism on the environment is controlled. State of the art security linked up to armed response company 24/7. Alarm and keypad and electric fence. Pool and garden are available to guests that make your accommodation unique and special. We have keys and a keypad for access into the bungalow. We will check you in personally. I am available by phone and email. We have two staff available onsite each day to assist with whatever is needed. Clifton Third Beach is one of the most famous locations and beach in the world. This magnificent bungalow is located a few steps away from the ocean and beach and comprises everything you need for a glorious holiday on the beach. Enjoy swimming in the pool overlooking the ocean, watch glorious sunsets and relax on the sun loungers on the deck. The bungalow is a kilometer away from restaurants, night life and shops in Camps Bay and Sea point. Car and Uber is best way to get around or walk on beautiful beach front. From the airport use either an Uber or taxi and use the address 22 Victoria Rd Clifton. Then when you arrive you will be at the parking and bus stop of third beach clifton. Walk down the steps opposite to the bus stop side keeping left until you reach bungalow 26 at the bottom a few steps away from the beach. You can always call us on arrival and we will fetch you from the parking as well. Since the bungalow is self catering, a cleaning service is needed at approximately R250-R350 per day. Each bedroom is made up of 3 king beds that can be separated into 2 single beds in each room on request.

There are multiple lounging areas inside and outside the cottage. Our long serving housekeeper, Maks, will be there to look after you and make sure you always have what you need.She cleans and does the washing daily except on a Sunday. Located within walking distance to many stunning hikes, walking routes, mountain biking, and cycling routes. There are many places nearby that you can rent bikes and there is ample storage at the house for bikes to be stored. There is ample and secure parking on our property for the vehicle you bring along for your stay. I am usually here and am very happy to help with advice at all times. This home is in a quiet residential area with beautiful houses and leafy streets. Close to the botanical gardens and near the city. Uber Available.Safe parking on the grounds of the property.
