Stunning property with ocean views from the living room. This classic Sea Ranch architecture is beautifully complemented by tasteful decor and a well-stocked kitchen. We truly felt at home and had a wonderful time. Willa and Craig were fantastic hosts—providing clear directions, helpful local tips, and being readily available if we needed anything. We’d love to return!

We loved our stay here! It’s nestled in the woods, so it is very private, but you’re only a 7 minute drive from Mendocino. The hosts were responsive and friendly, but gave us our space. They were very thoughtful about leaving things for our kids to do. The cabin is adorable and has almost everything you need. The WiFi was not working, but we enjoyed the atmosphere and didn’t come for the internet. The hot water runs out quickly, so if you have more than 2 people, definitely plan to stagger showers (morning and night). The hiking trail was amazing.

Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. Thanks for everything Denise!

An awesome place to stay, and the private beach access was an amazing perk!

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and even though the weather was super rainy we still had the best time! We will definately be back to this rental with our kiddos. I usually dont expect great beds in rentals but omg...every bed here was amazing! I had coffee in and read my book every morning while soaking in the outdoor tub and the fire place table top was awesome to lounge around on the only day we had clear skys. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic experience. The host was very proactive and gave clear instructions. We arrived late on a cold night, and the host was proactive in having the wood fire lit for us to have a warm and cozy place. They had left a bottle of wine, sparkling water, and eggs. These little gestures are not what we received in other places we have stayed. The place was amazing with a 180-degree view of the ocean. Highly recommend.

We (3 adults plus our dog) had a lovely weekend stay! It’s a quiet location convenient to Mendocino, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace after walking on the beach.

We enjoyed the Gull Cottage for a birthday trip. The house was clean, easy to access, and very comfortable. Jennifer communicated quickly on all questions to help get us accommodated. The hot tub and fireplace were very nice features and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet, perfect for walking dogs and enjoying nature. We had two issues - the spa jets would not turn off but Jennifer assured us to leave it and they would sort out the problem, and the main tv remote was broken from a prior renter but Jennifer had the remote shipped and delivered during our stay. Overall, great place to stay, great location between Ft. Bragg and Mendocino, and great communication from Jennifer. We plan to visit again.

I stayed here over NYE along with my friends, their teenage son, and two of his friends. Plus two dogs! Despite all those people, the house never felt crowded. The layout helps: the teens had the upstairs. The kitchen/dining area is huge! We loved the views from the back of the house and the large, fenced yard, perfect for dogs to romp around. Xeno, the caretaker, greeted us, was responsive when needed, and said goodbye. Otherwise, we didn’t see him. We loved the house so much that we are already thinking about our next stay!
