We had an amazing winter stay at this cabin! While the driveway was a bit tricky due to the winter conditions, the host was extremely responsive and gave us helpful instructions to navigate it. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, making it a great place to unwind after a day of skiing. We especially loved the hot tub, it was the perfect way to relax after hitting the slopes! The space is peaceful and private, and we enjoyed exploring the walking trails and the pond. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, including coffee, spices, and even a Roku TV for when we wanted to unwind indoors. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and would visit again!

Stayed here in April and didn't expect much being April but the weather was nicer than expected and the place beat our expectations! The place was so tidy, clean and just FULL of supplies and amenities - way more than any place we have ever been. Well stocked and thought out kitchen, loved the idea of having laundry inside and the hot tub was awesome for the time of year! Dog friendly was such a bonus for us to bring our 2 Labs as many places have such stipulations on size of pets welcomed and despite snow still being on the ground in some places, they enjoyed the swimming. The canoe, paddleboards and paddle boat were great to have available and we made use of the canoe. The deck offered great views and was perfect to have the gate to close the area to enjoy with our dogs and not worry about them running off the pester the neighbourhood chickens. Overall, great stay

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing cottag. very clean and spotless. The place was well-equipped with lots of entertainment options and fun activities for everyone. One of the highlights for us was definitely the hot tub — it was such a relaxing experience, especially in the peaceful and beautiful environment. We’re already planning to come back, and next time we’ll definitely stay for more than two days to fully enjoy everything the cottage has to offer. We stayed one week at Kris’s cottage and it was just lovely. The cottage had everything we needed. The view was so peaceful and the sauna and hot tub were both what everyone needed. The beds were so comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend and would definitely like to return. Thank you Kris.

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

The cottage is so beautiful and has so much space. Many outdoor activities to do nearby, but we mostly stayed in, the place is equipped with all the things you need to have the perfect getaway. We loved the hot tub and sauna! The hosts were amazing, always proactive and responsive! Will definitely be back! :)

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

Our family had a fantastic vacation at Paula and Chris’s cottage on Lake Eugenia. This beautifully rustic and well-loved cottage is perfectly equipped for guests of all ages and interests. Although the weather started off cold and rainy, and not good for swimming at first, we took the opportunity to explore the nearby Bruce Trails, just a short 5-10 minute drive away, where we enjoyed spectacular views. Back at the cottage, the fire pit made our evenings cozy and memorable, and the hot tub was an amazing bonus while we waited for the weather to improve. Once the sun came out, the kids couldn’t wait to jump into the lake, and they had an absolute blast! The Lily pad was amazing- hours and hours of uninterrupted fun. Lake Eugenia is a stunning spot perfect for swimming and just the right size for exploring by canoe or kayak. A big thank you to Chris and Paula for being such wonderful hosts!

We absolutely loved the cottage it was perfect for our week at the beach. The beach itself was just steps away and was absolutely beautiful with calm,clear water and friendly neighbours. There is a strong sense of community in the area. We really loved the outdoor shower which was a family favourite. We will defiantly come back to this cottage again and again if we can.

Our visit was for my 65th birthday and included 8 adults and 2 dogs. The home was clean and spacious with stunning views of the lake. The kitchen was perfect for our group and the large living room with a massive couch easily accommodated everyone. The hot-tub was very clean and we all loved the fire pit on those chilly evenings. Alex was easy to communicate with and we would definitely book this location again. We also loved that it was just under 2 hours from home.

We had an amazing Christmas stay at Amanda’s beautiful cottage! The snow made the experience even more magical, though we can imagine it being just as stunning in the summer. The heated jacuzzi overlooking the serene view was a highlight for us—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Amanda’s detailed instructions made navigating everything in the home so easy, and we appreciated how thoughtfully everything was prepared. The place had everything we needed and more. We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! We had lots of snow during our visit, and loved getting to enjoy the peaceful and private property. We even dug out the campfire pit for a winter fire! Even with all the snow, we were warm and comfortable, with the portable heater coming in handy to warm up after trekking through the snow! Jaclyn was so thoughtful and helpful as a host! We were very well taken care of! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, peaceful, and cozy getaway surrounded by nature!

It was clean, well-heated, and offered the perfect escape after a day of exploring the area. Whether I was taking a morning dip or winding down in the evening, it truly enhanced the experience. The surrounding area was just as lovely—quiet, scenic, and full of charming spots to explore. Whether I was taking a walk around the cottage or venturing out to nearby attractions, there was always something new to enjoy. All in all, this cottage provided the perfect balance of relaxation, comfort, and adventure. It was a much-needed escape, and I left feeling refreshed!

A most delightful stay! We rented Wendy and Jeff’s place for a week. The place looked exactly like the photos--beautifully decorated, modern yet cozy and impeccably clean. The cottage is located at the end of a peninsula, with spectacular views in every direction. It was private and peaceful. Thoughtful little details throughout the cottage make this place stand out. We especially love the helpful notecards with instructions on how to operate the coffee machine and other amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were also well-stocked. All these things add up to a very comfortable and wonderful experience. We highly recommend !

We had a wonderful stay at Cassidy and Stephen’s cottage! The place is beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and ideally located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families, with plenty of toys and books for the kids to enjoy. The communication with Cassidy and Stephen was very smooth throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a cozy and family friendly getaway.

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive and helpful. The home was cozy, clean and comfortable. The snow was more than 3 feet deep when we arrived and it snowed everyday we were there! The property was a magical winter-wonderland that we explored with snowshoes. The driveway in was plowed so we had no difficulties getting in and out and, despite feeling so private, it was just a short drive to an amazing bakery and other great amenities. We would definitely return!
