*Tudor Cottage in the woods, deck and firepit

English Tudor home sits on almost 3 acres in subdivision type setting. Home is about 15 minutes from VT and about 20 minutes from RU. Although home has country feel, the neighborhood offers paved roads for walking and enjoying mountain views, deck, fire pit, and a "swurfer" swing provide a relaxing and fun backyard experience. Often property is shared with Guest Cottage right next door! Near the New River, McCoy Falls, tubing, kayaking and fishing are less than 5 minutes away. Pet fee required.

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away. The cottage boasts historically preserved features as well as luxury and comfort for guests. It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

Up A Creek on Claytor Lake

Enjoy looking at the lake from almost every room in the house. Wake up in one of 3 private bedrooms or the sunroom (daybed and trundle bed) looking at the water. Have coffee on the porch while the sun rises, walk straight into the lake from the boat landing, enjoy relaxing on the patio, lay out in the sun, jump off the private dock, build a sandcastle on the beach, and then finish your day with a bonfire in the fire pit while still looking at the lake with the moon shining down.

You will love visiting Claytor Lake & this great waterfront home! Enjoy the private covered boat dock equipped with a porch swing to take in the views. The water is perfect for swimming right off the dock! Enjoy your days on the huge wrap around deck with ample seating, dining area, & a living room with a wall of windows with views of the lake. Waterfront cabin located where New River meets Claytor Lake. The location is perfect for all types of water activities including boating, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing and fishing. Home has a boat dock and access to boat ramp on the property. Large, flat yard is perfect for gatherings and outdoor activities. Large covered porch with ample seating and table space. Located directly across the water from Allisonia boat ramp and New River Trail. New WiFi provider.

Mother Earth w/ hot tub,View, 3 miles from I-77.

Blue Ridge Parkway, soaking tub, hot tub, internet, coffee, hiking, and a view in Fancy Gap. Great for groups. What is needed for Glamping? Clothes, food, We have everything else covered! we own a nice fishing spot 3 miles away that my guests are welcome to. Mother Earth is super comfy with plush blankets washed between each stay, comfortable seating and open the dome to enjoy that fresh mountain air! There is a propane fireplace and a minisplit for heat/ac.
