The Boat House is a newly remodeled studio space. It’s a unique place to stay, located on a private dead end road right on the water with beautiful views it’s 5 minutes from I 81. Perfect for Virginia Tech home sporting events. It’s also perfect for Virginia Tech and Radford University Graduations, weekend or weekly family getaway. You will have access to the dock on the property for fishing and swimming, there is available space at the dock if you have your own watercraft.

Waterfront retreat on the New River at the headwaters of Claytor Lake . Great for fishing, tubing, and boating. Directly across from Allisonia boat ramp and immediately adjacent to our other listing (Cozy Waterfront Cabin). Shared use of boat ramp located on the next lot. Large flat yard is perfect for outdoor activities beside the water. Nearby access to New River Trail. Well behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. You must keep dog leashed during visit.

Nature Lover's Retreat

Unique tiny house set on a beautiful farm/wildlife conservation area. The house overlooks the hay fields and 2 acre stocked pond. Property is a nature lover's delight for kayaking, hiking, bird watching, fishing and all the amenities near by. Floyd is 25 miles away, Roanoke is 35 miles and Rocky Mount is 11 miles. Depending on the season, you can watch Canadian geese, blue herons, egrets, numerous species of ducks and other waterfowl frolic in the pond.

River Hill Hideaway

River Hill Hideaway is a cozy place of respite from the whirlwind called life. You can fish for bass, catfish and sunfish in the pond, or relax on the deck and listen to the river (if you can hear it over the crickets and frogs). The Little River (a trout stocked stream) bends just around the back of the property and you are welcome to fish there or enjoy the swimming hole. Be sure to get a NC fishing license if you plan to fish in the Little River.
