Very clean non smoking, 65" TV/home theatre, WI-FI , Wood Burning Stove, and outdoor fire pit (wood provided) for your enjoyment. Come and distress yourself at Hope Haven Cottage. Pets: We welcome pets. If you have more than 2 pets, please contact us for approval. There is a pet fee of $50 for the entire stay.

Only minutes from the blue ridge parkway, hanging rock state park, Mount airy and more. It’s a cozy place to get away as a couple or with family. Enjoy nature, bluegrass, festivals, and more while staying here.

Waterfront Cottage Retreat with Hot Tub

"Refined with a Touch of Wild". Enjoy our country retreat minutes away from the East Coast's famous Blue Ridge Appalachian Trail & the Roanoke Valley's finest dining spots; or stay home for a home cooked meal adjacent to our unique waterfall patio. The Stonebridge Cottage is a private guest house offering the perfect mix of cozy & country with a resort-like finish. This property is part of the Sak's House Creek Retreat and can be reserved with the main house which sleeps up to 14 (9 beds).

New River Trail Cottage

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away. The cottage boasts historically preserved features as well as luxury and comfort for guests. It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

Lake Serenity Patio Apartment

Lake Serenity Patio Apartment is located on Claytor Lake, with a beautiful view of the distant mountains. The location is ideal for activities in the New River Valley and is only a short drive to Virginia Tech and Radford University. Relax on the patio or head down our gravel driveway to the dock to enjoy the lake. Swim, paddle-board, kayak, or stroll around our 12 acres, and beyond! Claytor Lake State Park is nearby where you can enjoy great hiking, a beach area, and boat rentals.

Up A Creek on Claytor Lake

Enjoy looking at the lake from almost every room in the house. Wake up in one of 3 private bedrooms or the sunroom (daybed and trundle bed) looking at the water. Have coffee on the porch while the sun rises, walk straight into the lake from the boat landing, enjoy relaxing on the patio, lay out in the sun, jump off the private dock, build a sandcastle on the beach, and then finish your day with a bonfire in the fire pit while still looking at the lake with the moon shining down.
