The historic Waldo Covered Bridge is just below the cabin spanning the creek. Prospectors pan for gold in the creek. The farm is 20 acres of trees and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in AL is just up the road. Pinhoti Trail is 2 miles away. Chief Ladiga biking trail is nearby.

Enjoy our unique Hangar House on our beautiful one hundred fifty acre farm with grass runways, mountain views, and a twelve acre lake. For pilots who want to fly in you will have a truck available and please contact us first prior to landing. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, live music area, ping pong, board games, gym, hot tub, two grills and an abundance of wildlife to enjoy on the farm. Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
