The good: The space was exactly as described — clean, stylish, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and a sweet treat for when we entered. The bed was super comfortable, and overall, it felt like a home away from home. The not-so-good: Unfortunately, there were a couple of major issues that made the stay less than ideal. First, The Beds! They were super comfortable but you couldn’t get out of them. They had memory foam and you literally sunk into the bed which was really uncomfortable waking up or getting out of the bed. Secondly, The water inside the bathroom (pressure) and (temperature) there was something that just wasn’t right. The board games were missing things( the core things). Lastly, parking (abit) of a squeeze and tight for 2 average Vehicles to be parked on location. I hope you find this review helpful!

My family and I had a wonderful stay!! It was the right combination of privacy and accessibility. They were always quick to respond to any questions and provided a lot of information. It was even a little bigger than the pictures make it look. We give it a 5+ Stars!!!!

Cozy studio apartment, <1 mile to Downtown

John & Mary live in a such a cute neighborhood about a mile or two from downtown. It was so quick and easy to get everywhere we needed to go in Athens. The space is perfect and so easy to access since there is a private entrance. It was sparkling clean and the perfect amount of space of two people. It's so nice when an Airbnb offers a king bed and the bed was also very comfortable! We could hear some footsteps/noise upstairs but it was not bothersome to us at all, especially because we were out and about during the day! It was not an issue in the evenings at all or while we were sleeping. I would stay here again anytime! Thank you, John & Mary!

River Bottom Bungalow

This is a great place to stay, Michael is a great host, very responsive & easy to communicate with. Being able to get on the kayaks he provided & going up the river was very relaxing. The shower was big enough for two & the indoor sauna was a wonderful way to relax after the kayaks. If we ever come back to Athens, we're definitely going to book Michael's place !!

I wish I could have stayed longer. Her place was perfectly close to everything I needed. I felt at home and secluded. The host was very responsive and helpful for any questions I had. I would recommend this stay!

The instructions were communicated very well on how to get to the entrance. Michelle was very friendly and available. The place was neat and clean. It was perfect for what I needed and priced right. I would definitely recommend to others.

Green Getaway Suite - minutes to downtown!

We only stayed at Kay’s place for one night, but it was a great stay! Very close to the bars and restaurants in Downtown Athens. The area was very quiet with no disturbances. Everything was nice and clean, and we had everything we needed. Kay was very proactive in her communication prior to our stay, which I really appreciated. I would book again in the future.

The room was beautiful and had room to move around. It was so quiet and peaceful. We heard the water running in the creek and even saw a buck cross the creek. Very restful. We will go back.

Down on the Farm

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The grounds and surrounding area are so pretty and peaceful. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, and quick to respond both before and during our stay. Loved the hot tub too!

Welcome to the Classic City

We spent four days at Michael's place when visiting Athens for the first time. The place is just as described, with a spacious room and bathroom. The little kitchenette was stocked with coffee, water and other essentials, and we loved taking our breakfast out on the terrace watching the birds in the garden. Michael is really friendly and helpful, with lots of good recommendations for things to do and places to go. We had a great time and will definitely return if we get a chance!

Angela was very responsive and gave clear instructions on check in, details on the rental, and check out. The property surrounding the rental was beautiful and "beeing" there was so convenient for the events we had over the weekend. The kitchen was stocked with all needed supplies for cooking meals and everything was very clean.
