Hang Out in the Backyard Hammock at an Eclectic Abode

While away chilled evenings under the illuminated pergola at this spacious 1930s getaway an easy walk from downtown. Lounge on the deck while dipping your feet in the masterfully constructed stock tank pool. This characterful space blends a rustic wooden bench and gold-hued velvet armchair with vintage-look glass lighting. We love our home! Sleeps 4 comfortably. Brick house from the 1930s, with updated fixtures. Great for football or graduation weekends. There are bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the very near vicinity. A quick walk downtown as well. For a 5th guests, there is a queen-sized blow up mattress under the guest bed. Extra sheets, pillows and blankets are in the closet. We have a large backyard with a 10X20 foot pergola for eating outside. There is also a Big Green Egg for those who liked to grill. Guests have access to the entire house except for a small studio/office where we store our belongings when we are away. Guests will be given access to the house via a code to the front door keypad. Housekeeper makes sure that everything is in order for you arrival. If there are any issues or questions, just give me a text or email. Normaltown is the new hotspot in Athens. There are several good bars, restaurants, and coffee shops all within walking distance. This is a very safe area with lots of people out and about on their bikes, with their kids, and walking their dogs. About 3 blocks from the Athens transit and UGA bus stop. $5 Uber to downtown, five points and most of central Athens. On nice days we walk downtown in about 25 minutes. For dinner I recommend Uber/Lyft instead of driving to downtown, even if you are not planning on having a drink, as parking can be hard to find at night, and you may end up paying more than what you would have for the round trip with Uber or Lyft. Dogs are welcome. The backyard is completely fenced in and we have a doggie-door for medium sized dogs.

Restored Historic House Downtown

Well-appointed, newly renovated, historic house just a half mile walk to downtown Athens' Classic Center.Enjoy all Athens has to offer with excellent proximity to all things UGA and downtown. This home was completely renovated and updated in 2023 with careful consideration of its original history that dates back to the 1940s. 2 bedrooms totaling 1 King and 2 Queen beds, plus an amazing kitchen, front porch, and onsite parking. Sidewalk the entire walk to downtown which is only a half mile away.

One half of a recently remodeled duplex is less than one mile from Sanford stadium and situated just a short walk from Stegeman Coliseum and Foley Field. It's the perfect location for a game day weekend or a short jaunt into Athens to visit your favorite student or to relive old Athens memories. You will find that this cozy apartment with off street parking has everything you need to make your trip both comfortable and enjoyable!

Best Gameday Location - Walk to game/DT - 2BR home

Perfect location near UGA campus & downtown! Near the former R.E.M. "Murmur trestle" and Firefly Trail, you're just a 15-minute walk to Sanford Stadium to cheer on the Dawgs. You're also close to the shops, bars, restaurants and venues that make Athens famous. Enjoy our 2BR/2BA historic 1920's era home, complete with full kitchen, sunken patio, and rocking chair front porch. Ample parking, fast wifi, and a vintage stereo system! Near public park, bike paths, and Mama's Boy for brunch!

Athens Retreat

Our Neoclassical home rests on a hillside acre among towering Georgia Pine. Read or watch movies in the library, (the fireplace works) gather in the sun porch, make yourself at home in the dining room, tell stories in the living room, or entertain on the back terraces, beside the Koi pond and waterfall. We have 3 full baths and 2 half baths. Note: The airbnb software isnt able to list 1/2 baths. Roku, free channels, feel free to login and use your personal streaming accounts.
