I stayed in Peach cottage for 7 weeks. The accommodation is as described in the listing. I cooked all my evening meals using the kitchen facilities. As others have mentioned the closest large supermarket (Massys in Oistins) is a 15 minute walk and the closest beach around a 10 minute walk. If you want beaches that have any kind of facilities such as showers, toilets or sunbeds/parasols etc you'll need to travel further. There are some "yappy" dogs in the neighbouring properties that occasionally have barking competitions. Speaking with other guests they seemed not to notice this, perhaps I'm just a very light sleeper. Doris and Desmond were very friendly and helpful in their advice

This is our third stay at one of David’s properties which I think says it all. This is a wonderful location, sea view and near one of our favourite beaches. The apartment is spacious, airy, nicely furnished and very comfortable with a gorgeous terrace. David is a fantastic host, super helpful with lots of local recommendations and really responsive. We love this beach. It’s quiet with great snorkelling. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beach and a beer in the evening. Do check the tides as part can get closed off and do bring sea shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier. This is a such a special place. We are planning a return trip.

Desmond and Doris are great host, the were very reliable, responsive and welcoming, their place were clean easy access to main attractions, accessible to shops restaurants and lots of beaches near by. best beach is brownes which is approximately 20mins in maxi it's worth the ride trust me, overall my stay in Barbados and at D&D was just great and what I hoped for relaxing and beautiful.The locals are also very very friendly I would definitely recommend and return🇧🇧

Very nice place staff was amazing clean and cozy

I’m currently in a wheelchair recovering from back surgery so my accommodations needs are special. Gale was awesome and respectful of my disability and always responds if you have any questions. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. While it does not have a beach view, the beach is only a few steps away. Brighton beach is a really great spot.

Peter is a very warm and welcoming host. The accommodation was quite comfortable and convenient, being pretty close to the Warrens commercial area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nicole’s place was great, she was very helpful and accommodating. She felt just like an auntie to me and my mom and her made a great connection definitely staying again when I travel again it feels just like family .

We had a great stay at Wlady’s apartment for our week in Barbados. We absolutely loved the location and the walkability to beaches, the pool, restaurants, shops, and supermarket, and coffee shops. It’s a quiet neighbourhood, secure, and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. A/C in bedroom was appreciated! Wlady was very flexible and accommodating when we asked to have a later check out due to a flight delay. Having access to the Beach Club was fantastic! Would come back to stay again!

Allison was a great host and very helpful. I booked a last minute trip to Barbados and she assisted me with getting a rental car and overall was very prompt with her responses. Allison’s Airbnb was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and very peaceful. Would highly recommend!

This vacation felt like home away from home simply because of the Airbnb hosts Sarah and Bruce, their beautiful family and this incredible home we stayed in. The photos don’t do justice of how incredibly cozy and comfortable this home was! We felt safe and right at home as my boyfriend visited Barbados for the first time. You get to see the beautiful sunrise and sunsets on this property while experiencing the full quiet and private experience that everyone looks for in a vacation! We got to play soccer with Sarah’s kids and have some fresh coconut water from the trees right on property, courtesy of Bruce! Sarah even made some homemade peppersauce and a cheese bread as a simple gift to welcome us! The proximity to 6 roads highway, grocery stores and other places were only a 6min drive away, after that, you are living in pure paradise! This stay was more than what we expected. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone traveling to Barbados looking for a safe, quiet, getaway!

The key word is quality. The quality of the sun loungers, the bed linen, the towels, even the kitchen pans. Anna has made an Airbnb feel like a home from home, with the quality you have in your own house. Beautiful home, location perfect with the beach on your doorstep. Local surroundings peaceful. I’d also recommend ticking off the suggestions on here to see and experience some of Barbados offerings. Pier 1 for breakfast and a lazy sunbathe, trip over to Cherry Tree Hill, a treat to Lone Star, and a regular meal out to Sea shed. We will return!

Great Stay! Very unique spot, in the middle of the countryside. Easy access to west coast beaches and eateries. We were a bit unlucky as we ended up being there during the 2 days of the season where they crop the sugar canes so it was quite noisy and there were no sugar canes left 😂. Besides that everything else was perfect! Maybe one thing I would add in the room is some short of aromatic diffuser or something as there was a bit of a heavy smell inside the flat. All in all though we would stay again as it was such a nice experience.

What a fabulous apartment this is! The photographs do not do the property full justice. Possibly the best position within Port St Charles, overlooking the marina, the island swimming pool and bar and out to the sea. The pool, surrounded by the most comfortable sunbeds, is a great alternative to the beach, and a simple stroll from the apartment. Water taxi available during daytime to take you to the beach or to the main bar/restaurant. There is lift access to the apartment. Each room is very spacious, light and tastefully decorated. All well equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans and very clean. The terrace spans the width of the property making a large area to enjoy the cooling breezes day and night. Karen, the owner, was so very helpful and easy to communicate with. The managing agents are local and highly professional. We would not hesitate to return.

Thank you Claire for hosting us, my family and I had an amazing stay at your apartment. To be honest there is nothing to fault. Barbados was the last of our stays having travelled round some other islands, and what a treat it was to end with. So homely, perfectly decorated (so much so I asked for details of where to buy items from - Claire has a fantastic shop too) Pristine, all the amenities you need, and even a welcome gift. The complex is well maintained with two pools and a restaurant on site with a great bar for sundowners with a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. Beaches are easily accessible and as mentioned previously, the apartment also includes rental of beach chairs which is incredibly handy. Claire is easily contactable and happy to help with the thousands of messages we sent her way. Perfect apartment, perfect stay, perfect host. Thank you again, we'll 100% return again as such a gorgeous place.

The apartment is located on a secure private estate in beautiful surroundings. It is perfect for a couple. It overlooks a shared pool which is never overcrowded. Superb beaches are nearby but a car is necessary for access to these and the nearby restaurants and supermarket. Would definitely book again.

I had a wonderful stay here. Home away from home. Marv and her husband went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and to show me island life in Barbados! Notes: It is on the Checker Hall bus route, but this isn’t too regular. It is possible to stay without a car, but is probably useful if you do have one. There is a washing machine, but no powder (all other amenities provided): useful to bring your own if you plan on using. It’s a countryside location, so be used to hearing noises of insects/possibly some bugs in the property: well made up for by the other tranquility the place offers! Overall: 10/10 would recommend! Look forward to staying again if the opportunity arises for another trip to Barbados, or to catch up with Marva and Marcelo if they come by London any time 😊
