Relax and enjoy astounding glacier and mountain views from every window in Glacier View, Alaska. This is an authentic, spacious Alaskan log cabin built in 1973. The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. You'll have private use of the entire cabin, including 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds, a dresser and large closets. You'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Cook Inlet and Mount Susitna and, on clear days, part of the Alaska Range, two volcanoes and downtown Anchorage. Convenient for Anchorage area activities/adventures and a great staging location for day trips north or south.

The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

We have loons, eagles, and some other Wildlife. On 17 mile lake. Has trout, so bring a pole. Great couple getaway. Questions just ask.

We are 30 minutes from downtown Anchorage, 10 minutes from the nearest store, and only 5 minutes off the Glenn Highway - but the views will make you feel like you travelled much further into the woods.
