Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

With easy access to coastal walking tracks, 500m walk to the beach, 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins to Christchurch central this space is the perfect getaway spot. This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Black Mountain is nestled in the foothills of the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges, 6 km north of Kaikōura township. Designed for short and longer stays, the home is private, peaceful, and set in a beautiful rural landscape. The bedroom, living and dining spaces, bathroom, and deck enjoy mountain and garden views, with glimpses of the ocean from the grounds. On arrival, you’ll find a small selection of freshly prepared provisions — enough for a simple breakfast or two, with our compliments.

Our Wine Pod, a beautiful Tiny House, sits privately nestled on the Georges Road Winery & Vineyard, with panoramic views across the vines to the hills & alps beyond. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Looking over the township, across to the stunning ocean and up to the majestic Mt Fyffe, our middle cabin - Fyffe provides spectacular views in all directions. Walking distance to the beach below and just a 5 minute drive from local cafes and restaurants, you'll find the Clifftop Cabins tucked away on the peaceful Kaikoura Peninsula. Enjoy magical sunsets from the outdoor bath, or relax on the lawn with a glass in hand, ready to spot a passing whale or pod of dolphins.

We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.
