Ideal for families, small groups or a couple just wanting to relax and getaway. Totally surrounded by farm land, relax and enjoy country living. Beach Feet Retreat, Kaka Point, Catlins Coast

Stunning sea side location of this beautiful new spacious beach house will provide a peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy the pristine Catlins Coast. Kaka points safe, lifeguard patrolled beach (summer) is across the road. House is located only 200m from the Point Cafe/store/bar and local play ground. Explore Nugget Pt and enjoy spotting the spectacular sea lions basking on the rocks. Hide away to watch the yellow eyed penguins arrive at Roaring bay. Local bush walks within 1 km.

Cosy one bedroom unit on stunning Curio Bay in the Catlins. Our self contained new unit directly overlooks the bay with beach access via a short track and stairs down to the sand. Everything is provided for your comfort Part of the exclusive Ara Pahu enclave and a short walk to a cafe and Tumu Toka Curioscape. Enjoy coffee with a view at the cute breakfast bar or outside in the private patio area with views over the bay. Listen to the soothing sounds of the waves as you drift off to sleep.

A warm & cosy 3 bedroom house perfect for your Catlins adventures. Sit out on one of the two decks and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the stunning view down the Catlins estuary and out to Owaka heads. Drive times to local attractions: Jacks Bay Blowhole - 10mins Surat beach - 5mins Owaka -3mins Pounawea - 5mins Nuggets Point Lighthouse - 30mins Purakanui falls - 15mins Papatowai Lost Gypsy - 30mins My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Honey Farm Cottage - Otago NZ

Relax and enjoy stunning 360° rural views from this cosy, modern cottage on our working honey farm. Conveniently located on SH1, next to the cycle trail and just a few kilometres from Lake Waihola or a 35 minute drive from Dunedin ... this is the perfect place to relax after a long day. With a full kitchen, you can be self-sufficient or choose from several other dining options. TV, books, games, and even friendly sheep for your entertainment! Light continental breakfast also included.

Sea View Apartment 1 (Seascape)

Our Self-Contained Apartment is fitted with modern furnishings, free WiFi and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse from the sliding doors. There is a private deck with a table and seating. The living area has a sofa, dining table and chairs and a flat-screen Smart TV. It has a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, electric fry pan, fridge, jug, toaster and all the essentials. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It has a private entrance and off-street parking.

Catlins Lake Sanctuary

The Catlins Sanctuary is a private and cosy 2 bedroom house. It is modest but comfortable. The property has magnificent lake & estuary views, where wildlife abounds. With 360' views of the lake, estuary & bush, this little piece of paradise is perfect for indoor/ outdoor living all year round. Located off the Southern scenic route 1.5 hours south of Dunedin, this is an excellent base from which to explore the natural wonderland of the Catlins.

Wairua Moana ~ Spirit of the Sea

Spirit of the Sea is a thoughtfully redesigned and newly renovated seaside cottage with exceptional coastal views from all rooms, a large sunny outdoor deck area, and modern fittings. A short walk to Kaka Point's two beaches and village centre. Spirit of the Sea is a private yet central coastal escape designed as a couples retreat, not ideal for small children as there are a number of hazards such as steep unfenced cliff and a busy road.

Tahakopa Bay Retreat, Catlins, South Otago

Takahopa Bay Retreat is in the heart of the Catlins and offers sweeping panoramic coastal and established native Forest views. The Retreat was established by the Clark family who live on, and farm the surrounding land. The Clark's have been farming the 685 hectare coastal property in the Catlins for the last 25 years. Cameron and Michelle would love to share their secluded retreat with you to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness it provides.

We are within short driving distances of all the places you’ll want to take in: Surat Bay with its Sea Lions, Jacks Bay Blowhole and the Kaka Point lighthouse to name just a few. Be sure to book your evening meal in Owaka at the "Lumberjack" or instead pick up takeaways from the "Bakehouse".

This self contained tiny house is the perfect place to unplug from technology and unwind (wifi available but no television) A great base for exploring all the Catlins has to offer.

Catlins River Station House

Four bedroom, spacious, self contained home with a beautiful, private and tranquil setting. Access to our farm for walking, cycling and trout fishing. We can offer some of the most stunning views the Catlins has to offer right at the top of our farming property. 5.5 km from Owaka and central to many of the magnificent attractions within the Catlins Area. (Purakaunui Falls is a 5 minute drive)
