While the property itself is stunning—boasting serene views and a peaceful atmosphere—this review is truly 75% about Sangeeta, the incredible host, and 25% about the place. From the moment we arrived, Sangeeta made us feel genuinely welcomed. She greeted us with thoughtful gifts at check-in, a gesture that instantly set the tone for the warm hospitality that followed. Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond—arranging a bonfire, helping us plan local sightseeing, even ensuring we had access to a microwave for our late-night dinner cravings. But what truly sets her apart is her kindness and care that extends beyond the stay. One of my friends accidentally left behind some belongings, including a debit card, and Sangeeta not only kept them safe but also took the time to courier everything back to us. It’s rare to come across a host who blends professionalism with such heartfelt generosity. Thank You!

I must say it was one of my best experiences. Right from the time of booking, Karthikey was proactive and ensured that we did not have anything to worry about. Karthikey's house is as described (if not more beautiful than the pictures). We were travelling with 4 kids and they loved the open spaces and the games in the house. Overall, I would recommend it for anyone who is planning to have a peaceful stay in Kasauli.

We had a fantastic stay at Anil's place. The location is awesome, the property is rustic and comfortable. Kamala gave us excellent food. Anil gave us great suggestions for things to do. We spent a lot of time at the Salogra station on the Kalka-Shimla heritage railway line which is a few steps down from the homestay. The highlight of the trip was Bhola - the resident mountain dog who was just a joy to be around. We have already recommended the property to a bunch of friends and we intend to visit again soon.

We (my spouse, our three-month old infant, in-laws and I) had a wonderful three days' stay at this property. It's a great place to unwind and have a quality time with one's near and dear ones. The natural beauty and tranquility around are unparallel. However, it's hard to not talk about Ashish's father (who was actually the host; Ashish was away) and the local aunty, Geeta ji. Uncle is a person with a big heart! There are reasons to say that. And Geeta ji with her country-style cooking makes one's stay here very comfortable. Be ready to gain some weight. Needless to say, this is not going to be our only visit to this heavenly place. Experience next time would, however, depend on the influx of commercial activities in the vicinity, a real concern across India's Himalayas.

G. Floor Cottage + Mountain view, Near Mall Road

It was a big room with a small pantry and a big bathroom attached. the place was very clean with hot running water, room heater and a heated mattress. All in all, it is a great place to spend time indoors and hang out. The place is a bit far from the main Kasauli markets but taxis are easily available and should cost you between 300-500 rs. If you don't mind walking, Garkhal bus stop is a km away. From there the bus takes you to the Kasauli mall road in 5 Rs. The kitchen was well stacked. We didn't use the outdoor area as much since we were out the whole day and the weather was quite cold. in the night. We ate a few times at the Manavi Cafe next to the listing. The food was good and the people were very kind.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was super awesome — nestled in a beautiful, lush green environment that was peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-maintained. What truly made our experience special was the incredible building staff — they went above and beyond in every way. Always available, friendly, and so helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Another highlight was the food — delicious and always served on time. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely love to come back!

Have visited this place multiple times now! Lacasa is as beautiful as it looks in the photographs. If you really want to be away from the city life, this is the best place you can be at! There are a couple of nearby hikes which you can take to reach some beautiful spots, (one of the best sunsets I’ve seen), and you can do stargazing at night. The food is like best of both worlds, you get restaurant level food but with a homely touch! 100% recommended this property to everyone!!

It was a our pleasure to stay at hadley inn cottages, we had a great time there and the cottages were very amazing and offers great services with amazing views and at staff and the host were really nice. I would like thank duggu and nutty (there lovely pets) for making our stay more memorable. I would personally recommend this place to others must visit place at chail for peace and comfort.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was great too, close to everything I needed. Ms. Neena was super friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication really easy. I felt right at home and would definitely love to stay here again. Serenity at Dagshai - Marwaha Lodge

Very beautiful cottage located at the Dagshai valley. Best place to stay with family and friends. Pet friendly and all amenities available. Host is very courteous and caretaker Mr Anil always available for any help and he also cooks delicious meals. We extended our stay from two nights to three nights. Recommend from our side fully. Thanks Mr Bedi for hosting us.

The place is beautifully maintained and offers all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The villa boasts a spectacular view of the Kasauli hills and sunrise, making mornings truly magical. Though it’s a short 10-minute trek from the main road, the serene location more than makes up for it. Our host was exceptional, ensuring we had everything we needed and more.

Amazing place for a comfortable home stay for a week. Dayavati aunty took great care of us and treated us very well. The surroundings were very peaceful and pleasant. All the amenities were as mentioned and i would say it was also a very nice place for pets. Overall i loved the place and it was a great experience.

The adobe is beautiful with serene view through all the rooms. Tastefully setup house, properly ventilated and lit. 5(Five) stars to the stay and must recommended for travel with friends and family. Ready to witness the mesmerising sunrise view looking upon the valley. The house helps are just admirably warm, welcoming and takes care above and beyond. :) Suggested to travel light if travelling with kids or otherwise. There is a 10 min walk after parking to reach the place.
