Ishpeming Lakefront Cottage

Welcome to Ishpeming ("in the sky"), a beautiful year round private lakefront cottage on Manitoulin island- the largest freshwater island in the world. This relaxing four season vacation home sleeps 7 with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and an elevated west-facing patio offering spectacular sunset views of Lake Mindemoya. The open concept living dining room has a stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that are perfect for preparing meals, cozying up and making lasting memories.

Luna Solis Yurt

The yurt is located on beautiful 112 acre property. The ecosystem includes mature sugar maple forest, evergreen forest, Niagara escarpment and the river Manitou running through it. There are also trails to explore. The yurt is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay: a cozy bed, a wood fire place for heating, a kitchenette with cooking supplies and an electric stove. There is electricity in the yurt generated by solar panels. There is a cedar outhouse close to the yurt.

COUNTRY CABIN

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

A smaller cottage, built in 1973, it is comfortable, with direct private lake access across a low traffic road. Sitting up on a slight hill, it has lovely views of the lake. Enjoy the warmer waters of an in-land lake, beautiful sunsets, and great fishing. Come and enjoy beautiful Mantoulin Island and one of its most beautiful lakes, Lake Mindemoya. * mobility issues ? The cottage sits on a hill and will be challenging if land gradation changes are a challenge.

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.

Camp Mary Anne - The Loft

The loft hugs you with its warmth from the moment you walk in the door. High-end amenities and well designed space will allow you to enjoy the peace of the island from the comfort of this tranquil get-away. Of our 8 cabins, this the only one not direction on the water. We provide access to the water on the shared dock. It does, however, have stunning views as it's up on the hill.

The Mutchmor Lofts - The Bear's Den

The Mutchmor Lofts consist of six boutique hotel suites featuring full modern kitchens, along with a private bathroom. All rooms contain a King sized bed, a folding sofa bed, free wifi, a 49" flat screen TV, along with a unique blend of decorations, art and items including books and puzzles.
