This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Welcome to The Prom Queen on Beautiful Lake Monroe in Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida. We are super excited that you choose our beautiful Houseboat for your vacation. This Houseboat boasts 2 bedrooms, and one and half bathrooms. The Prom Queen boast 1850 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space. There are three deck spaces, and an outdoor table that seats six with a gas grill to enjoy our beautiful Florida sunsets. Boat is stationary only.

Unique Concrete House Boat! No cleaning fees!

This ferrocement boat Later Gator was made in Sweden in 1973. That’s right! It’s made of concrete! The boat circumnavigated the globe twice before eventually ending up here in sunny Sanford FL. We spent 2 years completely renovating everything and tried to leave as much of the boat’s original personality intact while adding modern amenities. Laundry facilities, showers and restrooms, diner, and marina store all on site, and downtown historic Sanford and river walk close by.

We even do tours of some of the closer springs. It has a bed, smart TV, air, conditioner, shower, and a very clean and sanitary porta potty on board. A large inflatable platform, paddle boards and tubes are available free of charge.

Boats of all sizes and descriptions plus dolphins will pass by your front porch all day long. If you're seeking an experience, something different, but in a tranquil relaxing more private setting, you found it. Pura Vida will stay at dock during stay.
