Quaint and peaceful place perfect for a long weekend gateway! Alicia is a very responsive host that quickly addressed a couple of minor issues at check-in. We ate a couple of times at the golf club’s restaurant nearby (~10min away, good food) and ordered in from a local pizzeria for our last night at the lodge (Alessandro’s). Highly recommend this place.

Shirleyann is a friendly and welcoming host with a quiet and peaceful property 10 minutes from downtown Floyd. The BnB is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, including yummy breakfast foods in the fridge. We look forward to staying there again.

Ms. Michelle hosted my team as we were in town for a tournament and we thoroughly enjoyed the large space with the nice bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and the hot tub. We had access to everything we needed, with Ms. Michelle even getting some extra towels for us. A great stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to make the experience perfect. The location was convenient, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This property truly exceeded expectations, and I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others. An exceptional Airbnb experience from start to finish!

We stayed at The Frances home July 6th thru July 13th, 2024. The house is so much nicer in person, the pictures just don't it justice. The beds were fine, the kitchen is well stocked and the place was very clean. Tons of room on the lower level to spread out and enjoy the pool table and ping pong. The lot is sloped but not too steep and they have a very nice, concrete walkway. The owners allow use of their kayaks, canoe and tiki hut on the dock. The hot tub on the lower deck was a great way to relax and enjoy the lake view. The house is in a no wake cove and just across the water from Jake's Place. Super close to the SML bridge and Bridgewater marina. Jake's has a restaurant, camper park and beach area with a slide. They do provide internet although we struggled many times with the connections, just power cycled their router and it was back up and running. T-mobile is the provider, I believe. The one major negative is no trash service, not even trash cans. Gotta fix that...

Beautiful location, place as described. Jacuzzi was great. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure, good shower. Bed was comfortable. Donnie was helpful and responsive.

We traveled to Lexington for our VMI reunion and wanted something more comfortable and social than booking several hotel rooms. This home caught our attention due to its proximity to campus and its great description — and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The kitchen was spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for gathering and cooking together. The back deck and yard offered stunning views that made our time there even more special. The house easily and comfortably accommodated three couples, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax. Jennifer was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lexington!

We found our stay very peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. The pictures and description don't give justice to truly how wonderfully beautiful the stay is. All the comforts of home without the stress. Have already booked next visit.

Peaceful, cozy, restorative spot for my family’s spring break. We loved hiking on the property, relaxing in our hammock amid the trees, and enjoying the vibrant life in Floyd.

Had a great stay at Josef’s place. Great location and walkable to everything in Downtown Blacksburg, as well as the campus. The home is very clean and has everything needed for a weekend trip. Would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough good things about The Wandering Goat Lodge. The apartment is spacious with many comfortable throw blankets (our favorite!), room to cuddle up and watch TV, and my VT student felt right at home with all the VT fan gear! We delighted in feeding the goats and the donkeys, all of whom had over-the-top personalities. This will definitely be our go-to stay for VT visits while our kiddo is at school.

We enjoyed our time here. The location is peaceful and the animals add an extra charm. The only minor complaint would be the bed, but we are spoiled! I definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Great location at Bernard’s Landing - right next to the club house with the pool and other amenities. Very large space that could easily accommodate 4 couples. Would definitely stay here again!

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

Great place. Great location in proximity to Liberty University. Our host was gracious and kind. He was prompt with communication and never intruded on us when we were there. Although it was in his basement, it did not feel like it. We came and went with relative ease. The property is clean and well maintained. We would rent from Steve again.

It was super cute and close to plenty of things to do. Also a nice little view of the water, which we loved!
