Family Holiday Home Near the Beach

Welcome to @templeandtide, a newly renovated coastal holiday home based in the beautiful seaside village of Castlerock, Northern Ireland. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by residential and holiday homes. A short 5 minute walk will take you from the front door to the beach, play park, tennis courts, Costcutter, coffee shops and train station, with links to Belfast and Londonderry. We are just one mile from the Bushmills distillery and two miles from the Giant's Causeway. We are in the country yet close to all amenities. The beautiful North Coast is only two miles from here at Portballintrae, a surfer's paradise. The ruins of Dunluce Castle are well worth a visit as you tour the coast to Portrush and Portstewart where golfers will be spoilt for choice. We have great views of the sea and surrounding countryside and you can watch the sun setting over Portballintrae harbour.

Rathlin View Cottage Ballycastle overlooks the sea

This charming, traditional Irish cottage has been fully restored and is uniquely situated on an outcrop of rock. It has a walled garden which is washed on two sides by the sea. It has a stunning location, with breathtaking views out over the sea to Fair Head, Rathlin Island, Kenbane and the Scottish coast. The new conservatory, is an additional feature for guests to enjoy the magnificent views. The cottage accommodates four and has an open fire and oil fired central heating.

This gorgeous whitewashed cottage with roses growing over the blue half door sleeps six and is in a spectacular location leading on to the end of Ballycastle’s mile-long sandy beach. It is peaceful on a very quiet road and has stunning, uninterrupted views of the North Antrim coast. Sit in the back garden and watch the sunset over the sea, wake in the morning to the sound of waves breaking on the rocks.
