We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails. Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Enjoy our country retreat minutes away from the East Coast's famous Blue Ridge Appalachian Trail & the Roanoke Valley's finest dining spots; or stay home for a home cooked meal adjacent to our unique waterfall patio. The Stonebridge Cottage is a private guest house offering the perfect mix of cozy & country with a resort-like finish. This property is part of the Sak's House Creek Retreat and can be reserved with the main house which sleeps up to 14 (9 beds).

Right next I-81. The apartment actually is in-law suite consists of one bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, and smart TV. It also has its own private access, patio and generous parking area. To reach airport in 10 mins. Exploring the downtown Roanoke and Main Street of Salem in short distance too. Hollins Univ. and Roanoke College are both around 4 miles away. The ducks and chickens stroll around and deer visit too. Kick back and relax in this cozy, quiet and stylish space in the woods.

Tiny house farm stay, minutes to AppalachianTrail!

Unwind in a spacious tiny home on a working farm with vegetables, herbs, fruits, dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. Enjoy the views, farm fresh food, local hiking and swimming holes, or if it's cold, cozy up by the wood stove! We offer sliding scale farm-to-table dinners on weekends. We love sharing our farmstead with guests and also understand if guests prefer tranquil time to themselves. We are a 20 min drive to Dragon's Tooth, and 10 minutes to VA42 (Kelly Knob or the Keffer Oak).

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Horse-pitality in the Hills of Roanoke

Come relax on our happy farm in the magical mists of the Roanoke Valley! Our private guest suite with its own entrance & patio is serenely located amidst lovely views of our landscaped gardens, playful horses, & magnificent mountains. If you want a place to kick back, unwind, & rejuvenate, our comfy guest suite is for you! We welcome singles, couples, small families, long-term guests and the family dog for an addition charge. Virginia's Triple Crown Lodge (Shuttle)

This recently renovated barn loft is located a 0.3 mile walk from the AT and just off the Transamerica Trail (cycling). This secluded retreat is located within 20 miles of Blacksburg, Fincastle, Daleville, Salem, and Roanoke. The host is an experienced AT hiker and offers shuttle service to local trailheads, grocery stores, laundromats, etc. The first 20 miles are complimentary, with a $0.70 fee per additional mile. The best piece of real estate on the Property, this glampsite will simply astonish your expectations & impress your senses. Falling waters is off the grid, has a comfy bed, stays cool during the Summer, & is fully heated with propane in the Winter!
