Burke Bay A-Frame Retreat w/Cedar Hot Tub

Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Just 15 min to Bremerton-Seattle ferry!

Cedar A-Frame on the Cove

Majestic sunsets over the South Puget Sound await you at our 70's themed A-frame house, which sits on the edge of a peaceful saltwater cove, where kingfishers, herons, and river otters play. Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each. The gravel driveway is steep - you MUST have a an all-wheel drive.

" Captain's Quarters", at Sylvanrude, Lakebay WA

The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Enjoy your own private beach, paddle boat, kayaks, row boat, seafood filled lagoon, & spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains all framed in a different Sunset every evening. Outdoor activities to experience without leaving your retreat. How about fresh oysters, mussels or clams for dinner from your own seafood farm? Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and sea food lovers.
