Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

Ready for a rustic getaway? Our unique rental is located in a working horse barn and wedding venue in the peace and quiet of the country, and less than 5 minutes from I-77! Enjoy your morning coffee on our porch overlooking the rolling hills and pasture fields. Horses do not live in the barn anymore, but in our pasture surrounding the barn. You can enjoy morning or evening walks around the hay field or with a short drive get to the river or new river trail for some outdoor activities!

There is something for everyone at the Cabin at Riverview. Go tubing on the river or hike nearby Buffalo Mountain. Or take advantage of all the cozy indoor spaces we’ve created for relaxing (or reading or puzzling or playing a game). Enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of the water while rocking on the front porch. Close to many attractions in Meadows of Dan, Galax, Wytheville and Mount Airy. Please note that there is a $50 added fee for pets that is passed on to our cleaners.

Situated in a 100 yr flood plain valley of pristine Appalachian Mountain headwaters known as Big Reed Island Creek, this whismical river cottage features an open floor plan and open access to recreation on the water. With just one bathroom it's perfect for couples or small families. The space encourages connection to each other while enjoying nature.

Ridge View Cabin Near Floyd, VA, Secluded Hideaway

Nestled in the heart of SW Virginia, Ridge View Cabin is a relaxing place to get away from it all; yet, the charming and historic towns of Hillsville and Floyd Virginia are less than 18 miles away. Chateau Morrisette winery and restaurant is a 20 minute drive as is Villa Appalachia Winery. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessible and the Virginia Creeper Trail is in nearby Galax. There are plenty of other hiking trails around and river sports are nearby.

The Carriage House

Retreat to the country and experience simple living at its finest! Travel by gravel road to enjoy a peaceful setting with very little traffic. Second story living quarters with everything you need for a delightful stay. Kitchen is stocked with cooking/dining and coffee supplies. WiFi is available.
