Westview Retreat - Home in Thomson, IL

This home is located on the Mississippi River and has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was once an earth home, which gives the home a cozy, cottage type feeling. The front of the home is floor to ceiling windows (with blinds) so you can enjoy the river view. Please note: our interior and exterior stairs are steep and because of the age and design of our home, we are not ADA accessible. Please be careful and watch your step! Entry is through the garage. Free parking is on site.

Only half a mile away from the loading dock and close by to an Illinois State Park, our cabin allows Guests to enjoy nature in a relaxed setting.

Enjoy beautiful views of Savanna, the Mississippi River, and sunsets all from the front room. Savanna Vista is situated overlooking Savanna; restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment are all a short stroll away. The Palisades State Park is only a short 5 minute drive further north . The trailhead of the 62 mile Great River bike trail begins 7 blocks away. Or stay at home and enjoy the green space in the back of the house.
