Frostpocket - Charming Coastal Country Cottage

Frost-Pocket is a beautifully restored former gamekeeper's cottage on the Ardgowan Estate, minutes away from the shores of the Clyde with its serene coastal walks and spectacular views across to Argyll. The cottage has two bedrooms; a double and a twin; a good sized bathroom; well-equipped kitchen, and a boot room with a washing machine & tumble dryer, and enclosed garden. The open plan sitting/dining room offers a cosy place to relax, with woodburning stove, high-speed wifi, and smart TV.

Cats Castle

Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor. Suitable for family holidays or special occasions.

Set in pretty private garden with ample parking and within easy walking distance of Helensburgh centre and it's excellent amenities. The house has been completely restored over the last 3 years and has particularly elegant, light and airy rooms. The cornice, woodwork and staircase are superb examples of this period. Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
