The Cape Original Seasider

Original updated 1970s beach house in the Cape. Glimpses of ocean from the large entertaining space on the beach deck. 300 m to the popular Bay Beach and rock pools. Just 2 hours from Melbourne, a beautiful sustainable house situated in the stunning Cape Eco village; Banksia Bliss is the ultimate beach getaway. The award-winning house is just a short walk through community gardens to the popular beaches of Cape Paterson (700m). The local pub is also a short stroll away. The Eco village has fantastic paths for walking and cycling, pickleball courts, and a great playground for kids. Be prepared to encounter native wildlife such as kangaroos and echidnas.

Our home is within walking distance to the main street of Wonthaggi and to the hospital and located in a quiet cul de sac. It's a short 10 min drive to Inverloch and 8 mins to the beautiful Cape Paterson beaches. We are also walking distance to Bass Coast Rail Trail. Our house has a beautiful open living kitchen, dining and lounge room that flows through to the covered alfresco area. Our house is suitable for families, couples and business travellers.

The shack provides the essence of an Australian beach shack with views across the ocean and hinterland. It trims back everything else. A string of ocean beaches nestled between coastal cliffs are within a short walk. Outdoor showers, fire pit and BBQ are all present.
