This home was perfect for what we needed. We traveled with our grown children which included 7 adults, one toddler and one dog. The house was clean and comfortable. It is located in a great area that is near many restaurants and stores. Amber was very helpful with any questions we had and very responsive when we could not figure out how to heat the hot tub. The pool and hot tub were just the perfect bonus for our trip. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Southeast Texas.

Amazing stay for a group. There is so much to do on the property that you never have to leave. Some of the house is dated but take a look at the family photos inside and the nostalgia will hit you like a ton of bricks. We all said that it made us feel like we were at our grandmothers and made us feel right at home. Our group LOVED this place. We will definitely be back!

Shayla was a superb host! Very responsive. Any questions we had she answered right away. We had some travel issues getting there but she worked with us and got us taken care of and checked in quickly. When we first got there we had a few issues but Shayla jumped in quickly and resolved them all. The kids had a great time with all the games, they loved playing in the pool in the yard, and loved the projector for their movies. The light all around tue house was fun and cool as well. Will definitely visit again.

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

Had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Amazing place for a quiet peaceful relaxing stay - tons of space - ice cold a/c - amazing stove/kitchen - awesome views from every room - tons of outside seating - pool was crystal clean - & fishing was 10/10 - just book it you wont regret it! Cant wait to go back soon!

The house was a neat older house that had been updated enough to be very livable but still have charm. We experienced a couple of old house quirks that were addressed in a very timely manner. Rusty was a good host and we enjoyed our stay. Also the place was pet friendly which was great for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Heidi's place. She was super communicative and the accommodations were so impressive. My husband even said, this was his favorite AirBnB we ever stayed in! Definitely recommend this stay to others! You will not be disappointed.

We visit Lake Charles regularly and this was our third time staying here. The cottages are always clean, feel like home and Kelli is super responsive. Looking forward to our next stay.

Dallas was a great host and so flexible with our schedule due to being here for work. The house was cozy and perfect location to get groceries or get food. He was quick to respond as well.

We were extremely pleased with our lodging experience. The house was spacious, well appointed, and most importantly, clean and safe. Enclosed garage parking was a special feature. It was great to find this 4br house for our entire family to stay for Easter Weekend. Plenty of space and great bathrooms. Nice place for the area. The host is very helpful!

Tonya’s place is perfect for those looking to fish. Which was exact what we came to Port Arthur to do. My suggestion is to do a pick up order at Walmart before you get to the house, besides the gas station there isn’t much on that side of town. There is a great boat ramp right down the road, has three piers to fish off or launch a boat if you have one. We had to check out early due to our dog cutting his paw back home. Tonya was quick to respond with check out information. My kids loved the fact that the house was on stilts and we even walked over to the park which was about a block away. Quiet location with lots of outdoorsy things to do- sea rim state park, the battle ground, watching the boats, and fishing.

The stay was great overall, no issues at all. The casino is really close and most big box retailers are less than a 5 minute drive. If you like to fish or a fan of bodies of water, this is also a great place to stay.
