Enjoy views of the Thompson River from this updated quirky, eclectic old “paycheque” style cottage with 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, full kitchen and seating area overlooking the private back garden with covered shaded patio, perfect for bird & skywatching. Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. On the main floor is: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Upstairs is a loft with multiple beds- ideal for a large group with children or more than one family The cabin is walking distance from the lake- ideal for summer lake activities or winter tubing and skating. Only 8kms off the highway, on good roads, it seems you're a million miles away. Our place is a quiet, 200 acre ranch, in a natural paradise. Small town nearby for basics. 45min to 2 larger towns with all amenities. Completely private, waterfront with misc very friendly livestock on site. With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.

We are a busy family of 4 upstairs and would love to host you in our home!
