This home base offers endless outdoor activities, including stargazing from the wraparound porch & fire pit. *NOTE (7/2026): Lake levels are managed by the TVA and are currently lower than normal. Boat access to our private dock may not be possible at this time as water levels fluctuate and are beyond our control.

Katherine's Place welcomes you for a peaceful & relaxing stay! You will experience quiet living & tranquility. Enjoy pasture views from both decks while horses & cattle graze. One level living w/ a spacious living room & kitchen/dining area. Kitchen is equipped for all your cooking needs & shows off plenty of room to prepare. Dining area for 10. Get comfortable in the living room while streaming movies on a 65' in tv & enjoy the gas fireplace for a cozy experience. 3 bdrm, 2 bath, & game rm.

Lakeview charm

Remodeled farmhouse across the street from scenic Watauga Lake. The main house features a living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, fully equipped kitchen and large bath with tub. There is a 3 person hot tub in an enclosed patio. From the patio, there is a set of stairs that takes you to the one bedroom "tiny house" with queen bed, tv and desk, a party hut with garage door that opens to the deck and upper patio. Party hut features a 70 inch tv, 1 bedroom with bath and kitchen.

Our Watauga Lake front home is a perfect vacation getaway, located at the end of a point, the large deep water dock is ideal for year round boating and water sports. Conveniently located, we are within the quaint town of Butler and close to restaurants, small country stores and Cove Ridge Marina. Although Watauga Lake is our main attraction, we are near a number of waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and the shopping areas surrounding the Tri-Cities and Boone, NC.
