We had an amazing stay at Ivygrove, it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay, beds were really comfy and had plenty of information and ideas of things to do and see. Cathy was a great host, and was very responsive, from sending the check in details, to answering any questions, to check out. Would definitely recommend staying here, and I will book again when we next visit Dunoon.

Ardrossan is not a normal to go to place and the town is a bit run down, we were there to visit relatives in the next town, but there is plenty to see near by. The flat is in a residential area and its neighbours live there permanently. They were very welcoming. We had justed arrived and the lady opposite invited my wife and I to joint her in the garden. The garden is a great suntrap from early afternoon to sunset. To be fair every local we spoke to were very friendly to us southerners. The flat was spotless and felt like a home from home. There is everything you need in the flat and it is highly recommended. The only downside for me personally was getting in and out of the bath to have a shower ( the shower was great ) as I have arthritis in my back and ankles but I managed and it wouldn't stop me booking the flat again next time we visit our relatives.

From start to finish, Morag was always available. She was welcoming, informative and made us feel at home. As we had arrived at 10:30 at night, the welcome pack she left us was a godsend! A farm fresh egg omelette, toast and a cuppa was the best of meals!! Everything in Prestwick was just steps awsy - from restaurants, pubs, food shops. We'll definitely be back!

Just spent a couple of days at Mary's place. Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable beds, great shower, everything you needed in the kitchen was there, and plenty of it. We've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's and Mary's place was definitely one of the best. Would thoroughly recommend. We'll be back!

Great place to stay for ourselves playing golf. Right on seafront. Free on street parking. Local to the courses we were playing. Troon itself is a quiet place. But had enough going on to eat out. Would recommend if in the area and needing somewhere comfortable to stay..

This was a beautifully furnished apartment with fantastic views from the 3 windows in the lounge/kitchen - lovely and bright. Bathroom had a really good shower and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. There are a number of good bars and restaurants nearby.

Another fabulous stay at Margaret's flat. Margaret is a wonderful host. I would highly recommend.

The flat is spacious, clean and well equipped. It was easy to find with plentiful parking. Lots of clear instructions everywhere. Would definitely stay again. Note… it has neither a lake nor Mountain View’s and is in a near industrial style estate. It is quite conveniently located to shops, takeaway and it is an easy walk to the river which is about a 30 minute walk from the lake. So whilst we really liked it and would stay again, this is not the more rural accommodation we thought we were getting from the photos and description.

Lovely apartment as described. Well equipped and warm. Short walk to the shore and lots of forestry walks within easy reach of the door. Lochgoil Inn only open Friday- Sunday everywhere else closed for the winter.

Lovely compact flat which had everything you need for the perfect stay. Shereen was very helpful when we asked any questions and checked up on us as we were there for 4 weeks to make sure everything was going well. We very much appreciated that. There’s lots to do in Tarbert and we were minutes away from good eateries. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple who want to be in the heart of the village

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

What a charming little stay! It felt incredibly warm and homely, especially with the added comfort of electric blankets to take the edge off those chilly Scottish evenings. The touches of Scottish decor really helped immerse us in the spirit and beauty of the location—it truly felt like a slice of Scotland. The place had everything we could possibly need, from a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom to cozy bedrooms and a TV that made it feel just like home. It’s only a short walk into Balloch, surrounded by stunning scenery, yet tucked away enough to offer a sense of privacy and calm away from other tourists—perfect for unwinding. A truly beautiful spot with a wonderful, kind host. I've already made a mental note to come back again!

Kate is a fantastic host, Her place is exactly as described Kate met us at the property showed us around, it’s very light and airy the kitchen sitting room was very well appointed with a dining table and sofa along with a large smart tv, the bathroom has a large shower cubicle and is very well appointed, the bedroom was huge with a king size bed , wardrobe and dressing table with mirror and stool, it’s very close to beach and around 15 minutes walk from the town, there’s a little shop within minutes with the essentials, definitely a place to stay when exploring the Isle of Bute

Another fantastic stay. Relaxing home and area. Explored new island walks and visited the new foodie bistro. We will 100% return to this Airbnb. Host could not be more welcoming or kind. 5 stars from us

perfect in every way. welcome pack was fantastic, home made shortbread and jam. The accommodation was very comfortable and well maintained. we absolutely loved our stay. Top hosts who made us and our sassy sausage dog feel welcome. we can't wait to go back, The views were amazing, peaceful and tranquil.

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely stunning. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the Main Street where you’ll find lots restaurants, pubs and shops and great public transportation. Valerie was a wonderful, responsive host. The flat had everything I needed and then some. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was and I’d stay there in a heartbeat when I visit again. Thanks Valerie for everything. Lesley. 10/10

Flat is basic but perfect as a base for our holiday. Beds are comfy and everything you could need in kitchen. Decent living area and appreciated Netflix being ready to go. No issues with parking and good comms from host

We absolutely loved staying here. The flat is a dream, perfectly furnished and decorated, with beautiful views (and bench seats for every view)! It was so well stocked, everything had been thought of, and Graeme made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, which we really appreciated. The guidebook made everything simple and straightforward, and we loved the recommendations - would second the recommendation for the community pub, and we had a great day trip to Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. A lot of local places were closed during our mid-week, off-season stay, but the flat and the surroundings were so beautiful that it didn't matter! It was the perfect place to cosy up in after walks in the Bute winds. We hope to be back.
