Hummingbird Cottage in Quiet Residential Arbor Heights

We are 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown with easy access to the beaches at Alki and Lincoln Park. Your quiet backyard refuge is newly remodeled with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month. We are just a half block from the bus stop and access to Seattle’s great transit system. Whether you’re here for Business, visiting family, or on holiday, Hummingbird cottage should fill the bill. You have off street parking and the entire space to yourself, with laundry facilities and a full kitchen at your disposal. If you need a highchair or pack-n-play crib for your little one just let us know. I’ll be here to greet you (unless you come in very late), in which case I’ll give you the code for our August Bluetooth lock to get in when you arrive. We’re only 50 feet away if you need us but will give you your space if you don’t. Arbor Heights is a tranquil neighborhood halfway between the airport and downtown, plus only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. and parks with amazing views. Alki and Lincoln Park beaches are also easily accessible. Seattle is a good city to get around in by car but if you’re going downtown you might want to leave the car and catch the 21 bus to save the parking hassle and cost.

West Seattle Guesthouse: Near Airport & Seattle

West Seattle is well known for its Alki Beach, scenic views of the city, and plenty of restaurants surrounding the area. The unit sits in a quiet West Seattle neighborhood and is convenient to every attraction Seattle has to offer. Walking distance to Westwood Village (Target, QFC, Starbucks). Just one block away from bus transportation which takes you to downtown Seattle, and approximately 15 minutes drive from SeaTac Airport. Catch a ferry to Vashon Island and explore the Pacific Northwest.

The Garden House - Less than 10 min to airport!

The Garden House is only 15-20 min drive to downtown Seattle and a 10 min drive from the airport. Plus a short 5 minute drive from a gorgeous NW beach! It comfortably accommodates a family of four with a top of the line, luxury king size bed in the bedroom and pull out queen day bed in the living area. This is a fully functioning private home with kitchen & laundry! Sip your coffee as you watch the chickens and bunnies frolic in the yard space. Plenty of parking available. Great for families!

Longfellow Creek

This one-bedroom apartment is nestled on a lovely property in the woods, and is still centrally located. The apartment is full of natural light, has Persian rug covered bamboo flooring throughout, a quartz counter-topped kitchen, fully tiled bathroom: floor and shower, and has a remarkably comfortable king size memory foam bed. Two pairs of french doors open the living room up to the garden. Longfellow creek borders the property, beavers included, and a network of park trails as-well.

Quiet Guesthouse near Downtown Des Moines

Book your getaway in this charming guesthouse just a block away from the Puget Sound. This unique space provides the feel of woodsy seclusion with convenient access to Des Moines Marina, Normandy Beach Park, and SeaTac airport. Watch your head! The angled ceilings upstairs require you to duck as you climb into bed, but even our tallest guests can enjoy the cozy ambience of the loft-style bedroom. Centrally located just 25 minutes away from downtown Seattle and downtown Tacoma.

Vashon View Cottage

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

The Garage: A private cottage w/ driveway parking

Our renovated guest cottage is a comfy haven in a quiet neighborhood. Previously our detached garage, it is a completely private home away from home. You'll love the private patio entry, the dedicated driveway parking spot, and all the yummy takeout options at Burien's great restaurants! A washer/dryer, kitchenette, and big bathroom provide everything you need for a longer stay. Side bonus: The Garage is powered by solar panels.

Vashon Island is a beautiful, enchanting place and our guest cottage is in a uniquely gorgeous spot. Nestled above the water on a high bluff, the view literally takes your breath away; Puget Sound, Cascade mountains and sunrises that astound. It may be hard to believe an island paradise is so close to two major cities, but time seems to have stopped on Vashon. It's a magical place; come visit and let the spell work on you!

Our cozy Italian-style guesthouse is situated on a hill near the highest point in all of Seattle. Enjoy calm, quiet, and beautiful views of Puget Sound only 15 minutes from Downtown and the airport. Catch the water taxi to Downtown Seattle, visit Alki Beach or stroll to nearby restaurants and bars, Lincoln Park, or the Fauntleroy Ferry. Sip wine on the patio in summer, BBQ, or enjoy a game of ping-pong.
