Winter's Alki Beach Hideaway is the entire basement apartment of our 100+ year old beach cottage. Please see the description below for complete details. Steps away from popular Alki Beach, multiple restaurants/cafes, and public transportation to downtown Seattle. Just a 10 min walk to the only old growth forest park in the city and a 25 min drive to SeaTac airport. Beautiful KVI Beach is a short walk, through a tree-lined neighborhood, from my cozy sunlit home. A 10-minute drive brings you to a new Center for the Arts, several individually-owned art galleries, two grocery stories, and a variety of regionally-recognized and locally-loved restaurants. My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Private Garden Cottage

The cottage is a private, self-contained unit, featuring a well-stocked kitchenette, tiled shower, bedroom loft with french doors opening onto a deck, flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi, Bluetooth wireless speaker, and off street parking. Dog weight limit 25 pounds. Noise may be an issue for some due to airplanes. Stairs to the loft are steep. We are also located on a steep hill. We provide coffee/tea, juice, and some snacks. Everyone is welcome here.

Charming Beach Cabin in Quartermaster Harbor

* The cabin is close to the park, hiking trails, boat launch boat and bike rentals. You’ll love my place because of the views, being right on the private beach and the quiet peninsula.
