Hi I'm Basil. I live with my donkey family on a beautiful property in Exeter. Come and stay in a lovely private barn beside my paddock. It has 2 queen beds, a spacious & warm living area, with a kitchenette and a stylish bathroom. Escape the stresses of the modern world & enjoy the view over the pond. Curl up on the couch in front of the wood fire. Explore the delights of the Southern Highlands-cafes, restaurants, lovely drives and walks. We are only 10mins from beautiful Morton National Park.

The Stables @ Kookaburra House

‘The Stables @ Kookaburra House', is a unique and beautifully appointed barn style cottage located in a private setting amongst the tranquil country side of Kangaroo Valley. 5 km from Kangaroo Valley village and 1 km from the golf club. The Stables includes a large open fireplace, well appointed open plan country kitchen, spacious dining and lounge areas, outdoor fire pit, spacious grounds and breathtaking views of the valley from the outdoor furnished deck. This gorgeous Stone cottage has been built from the local stone collected from the surrounding land. Built with recycled timbers and antique building materials it looks like it has been there for more than a century. It has just been fully renovated and has all new appliances. The bathrooms have floor heating to keep you cosy in winter. Enjoy beautiful views across our secluded little valley from your private balcony or the outside eating area. Close to beaches, Gerringong and Kiama.

Contemporary Country Experience

Contemporary country experience Enjoy the simplicity and restoration that rural peace offers without getting your hands dirty (*unless you want to!). This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

The Carriage House at the historic homestead, Welby Park Manor has been lovingly restored and renovated. Oozing with character and charm, the Carriage House is self-contained, private, dog-friendly and fully fenced. On-site parking is available, wood is supplied for the slow-combustion fireplace and outdoor fire pit. you will be welcomed with drinks on arrival.
