Great spot to break up our drive from Christchurch to Golden Bay. Very clean with all you needed in the kitchen. Great views on all sides. Modern and comfy. As advised bring your supplies as it is remote. Would definitely stay there again

karen was kind and very hospitable. everything was in pristine condition, from the cabin to the bathrooms to the shared kitchen. All well cared for and looked after. Felt comfortable straight away

Lots of space, had everything we needed. Enjoyed the Stockton Mine Tour and the short walks in the area.

We had a fabulous time at Gerry and Carol's place. I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was super clean!! And WOW, what a great view of the Ocean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! A true find if you are able to stay here, highly recommended. We will be coming back for sure. 5 Gold Stars!!

Nicki's place is in a perfect location to access and walk the natural attractions of the area. Wonderful, spacious and inviting, the cottage is a recommended stay.

House is well located, across the road to a great swimming hole and one block to the Main Street with supermarkets, cafes & Pubs. Reefton has some great bike rides. Thank you

Fantastische Lage mit super Blick von der Terrasse oberhalb des Oezans. Grill vorhanden, Sonnenuntergang direkt von der Terrasse einmalig. Einrichtung liebevoll und individuell, aber man sollte keinen top modernen Standard erwarten. Für uns aber voll ok, soll keine Kritik sein. Kochgelegenheit mit 2 mobilen Kochplatten, mit denen größere Gerichte etwas Kreativität verlangen. Dafür aber noch Außengrill vorhanden. Kurze, aber steile Auffahrt auf Schotter mit teilweise ausgewaschenen Rinnen. Stellt prinzipiell kein Problem dar, sollte man sich aber zutrauen. Kurze Wege zu den Pancake Rocks und Pororari River Gorge. Wir würden definitiv wieder buchen.

I loved staying at Ron & Rachael’s place. Easy communication & clean. The property is in a Wild & Wonderful location on the West Coast. It’s a great Cabin to just relax and watch the sun set and the moon rise over the Tasman Sea. Plenty of great walks close by. Also one of the best pies in New Zealand are to be had nearby in Westport at West Coast Pies!

Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is simple but beautifully done. Loved the walks the owners have marked out and the friendly bird life. There’s some pretty frisky sandflies down by the river but they weren’t too much of a hassle up by the cabin itself. I actually did end up having cell coverage, albeit limited, but everything’s otherwise off the grid which was nice and helped disconnect from work. I got lucky and had gloriously sunny days, so no troubles with the solar hot water. Great stay! Could’ve happily stayed another day, which the owners have noted is a common piece of feedback they get and I can see why.
