Nestled at the foot of the majestic Mourne Mountains, our thoughtfully designed pod is warm, welcoming, and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Whether you're hiking the nearby trails, enjoying a stroll along the seafront, or just unwinding with a book and a cup of tea, this is the perfect base.

Tollymore Forest family house Mourne Mountains

Lovely family house providing a great base to explore Co Down. Tollymore Forest Park, Murlough Beach, the Mourne Mountains and Newcastle are on the doorstep. The accommodation includes a double bedroom with en suite shower and 2 further bedrooms each with 2 single beds. A well equipped kitchen and a cosy first floor living room make this house ideal for a well earned break. (Sleeps 6) N.B. We have another 3 bed house available in the same development so groups of up to 12 can be accommodated.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

The natural beauty of this private property displays a 360 degree view of the Mourne Mountains, Dramara and Slieve Croob Mountains, sea It offers the luxury of watching the stars whilst basking in the fresh spring water log burning private hot tub for an additional cost of £50 per day.
