Kilchoman Apartment

A perfect holiday bolt hole for a solo traveller or couple. Return after a day exploring Islay to a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming home. 1 double room, sleeps 2. The apartment is open plan over two levels. On the ground floor there is a spacious living and dining area with stylish furnishings, comfortable sofas and tall windows that let the morning light stream in. The modern kitchen, looking out onto open countryside is compact yet superbly equipped and there's a bathroom perfect for a long soak in the bath after a day's beach-combing. The upper floor comprises a bright double bedroom with an incredibly comfortable kingsize bed on a gallery level, with en-suite facilities including a shower.

Called Failte, Gaelic for Welcome, the house has recently been completely refurbished and modernised to create a stunning 5 bedroom property (3 superking rooms (each superking bed can be unzipped into 2 singles) and 2 twin rooms). 2 shower rooms with power showers plus a third WC. Well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Spacious with great view. TV, freeview box, fibre broadband.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. Croft Acre Holiday Pod

A cosy Pod on the edge of Port Charlotte. Nestled in the countryside on our small croft, the setting provides access to beautiful landscapes, local wildlife, a 5 minute walk to local amenities including a shop, pubs, restaurants, beaches, museum and island bus route. A 20 minute walk along the Lochindaal coastal path connects the neighbouring village of Bruichladdich, where you can enjoy a local coffee stop or experience a whisky tasting and tour at Bruichladdich Distillery.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Old Gortan Schoolhouse

Welcome to Old Gortan Schoolhouse! Built around 1880, today the Schoolhouse is a characterful cottage. Located just one mile outside the village of Bruichladdich, with its progressive whisky distillery, the Schoolhouse boasts stunning views of Loch Indaal. From the dining room or garden bench, you can watch the tide, plentiful seabirds, and gaze across to the Paps of Jura and the other side of the island. With the gorgeous views and cosy interior, you won’t want to leave!

Bruichladdich Cottage

Bruichladdich cottage is situated on the seafront in the village of Bruichladdich overlooking Lochindaal and a few minutes walk from the famous Bruichladdich distillery. It has uninterrupted views across Lochindaal to the Paps of Jura and the Mull of Oa There is a grocery store and coffee shop two doors away and the pebble and sand beaches are in front of the cottage. Bruichladdich is two miles from Port Charlotte, a lovely walk along the new coastal walk and cycle path.

Coull Farm Cottage - Stunning Beach Views

Coull Farm self catering holiday cottage is situated on the farm itself. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay. The hills, sea and moorland surrounding the farm are filled with wildlife and flora.
