The Tower, Thornton Castle

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in The Guardian Travel's '10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland', get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a mountainside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle, close to the Isle of Skye. With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. Weighing 20 tons and brimming with original rustic features, this historic wagon offers characterful self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. Enjoy your own private en-suite with hot shower, wood-fired hot tub, and peaceful soundtrack of birdsong and country life. The Toad makes a fantastic all-year-round base to explore the Brecon Beacons and beyond.

'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

The Burrow is a ground floor luxury log cabin with exclusive use of private garden, patio and hot tub. The apartment is a 30 minute drive from the stunning North Coast attractions and a 45 minute drive from Belfast. The apartment is located 50m from our house so we are nearby to make your stay enjoyable. An Electric Vehicle charger is available on request. Additional charges apply.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
