Felt right at home we just wish we lived in such a beautiful place!!

From the moment we arrived at The Anchorage we felt at home. The cottage was pristine and Ruth had left us some Welsh Cakes, tea and milk so we could have a cuppa when we arrived after a long drive. Ruth was always responsive and came to meet us to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was absolutely pristine. The heating worked well and made for a cosy atmosphere. The view was wonderful and we loved watching the fishing boats come and go. Sunset from the porch was stunning. A very enjoyable few days at The Anchorage which we hope to repeat!

Location is amazing, what’s not to like when it’s right on the beach and a stone’s throw from the sea. Watching the sun go down was awesome. The property is well kept and very comfortable. All the crockery, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, seating areas were in abundance. Everything you need is right there. An absolute fabulous find. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Chris’ bungalow - it’s homely and well kitted out, and very peaceful despite being a short walk into central Filey. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and summerhouse, and it was perfect being such a short walk to the beach and train station - ideal for a car free break. There are even children’s books, toys and buckets and spades so it’s great for families needing to travel light. Chris was friendly and responsive. We hope to visit again some time.

Beachview is a great find. The bungalow is perched on the cliff with great views out of the living room window and a grassed sitting area on two sides. Spacious lounge / open plan kitchen with a comfortable sofa. Adequate bathroom with over bath shower. Bed and bed linen very good. Very quiet location a few minutes from the centre of Hornsea. We were blessed with fabulous weather and loved just relaxing at Beachview bungalow.

We stayed here with our two young children to visit friends in the local area. It was a lovely space and very clean. Everything you need for a break away. The children were able to play in the garden also. The Hosts were friendly and helpful and excellent communication. It is also near to the local bus stop if you wanted to catch that into Exmouth town instead of walking or driving. Lots of amenities available in the town and the beach is lovely. We’ve already booked our next stay. 😊

Such a Lush place to stay! Lovely and clean. Was sent clear instructions on how to check in, made everything so easy and stress free. It felt so homely and cosy! Would love to come back to stay and will definitely be recommending!!

fantastic location in Perranporth.....right on the beach..... lovely homely bungalow with everything you needed..... although we didn't get to meet our host she was always contactable and very responsive and friendly.... a great few days away thank you Francesca

This was our second visit and we are really hoping for a third next year! The hot tub is heaven before and after a day exploring the local area. The kitchen is so well equipped! And it’s a lovely quiet area even with Aldi opposite (absolute blessing when visiting with day small people!) Thanks again

We live in Wales and the early flights are a killer with 3 young kids. The bungalows are so handy for a stop before the flight, this is the second time we have rented one. Will use again.

We stayed at Penny's place for a couple of months and had a great experience. The house looked exactly like the photos—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a beautiful private backyard that we really enjoyed. The location was peaceful, close to nature, yet still within easy walking distance to the city centre. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.

Emma and Colin at The Bungalow were so welcoming and friendly. The Easter decorations were such a lovely touch. Emma has thought of everything you could possibly need and the bungalow is spotless with beautiful decor and quality furnishings. Really enjoyed the bbq hut and hot tub, there is plenty for adults and children alike to enjoy. The location is so peaceful with fabulous restaurants nearby and the stunning Ayrshire coastline a ten minute drive offering so many places to go with families. You will have the best stay here and not want to leave!

Excellent hosts, very helpful, friendly and kind yet provided privacy needed. Great private location, very close to beach and amenities. Very comfortable and clean cottage, lovely garden too. Highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed at this bungalow for just one night, and we had a great experience. While parking on the drive was a bit tight, we easily found space on a nearby road without any issues. The bungalow itself is lovely—very clean, quiet, and spacious, with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy. There are lots of local takeaways and food options nearby, which made it really convenient. We especially loved the smart TV, which was easy to connect to our devices, and the fantastic extras like the pool table and the bath with jets. Overall, a really enjoyable stay!

Esther was a superb host and she was very helpful with both checking in and out. The house is in an excellent location, close to the centre of Bath and there was plenty of space for parking. Tge house was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was helpful given there were 6 guests.

Just the job for a stay to visit friends in the village.
