Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

The Studio: a serene Raglan stay with Outdoor Bath

Tucked away in rural Raglan is this beautifully serene yet affordable space. Enjoy the sunken outdoor bath overlooking tropical plants and a forest, or the firepit for those starry nights. A converted pottery studio, ‘The Studio’ is a relaxing place to unwind, with the bedroom windows overlooking a pine forest and rural views from the lounge. Stay 3 and only pay for 2 nights weekdays through Winter Special discount applied on booking request This wonderfully modern house is positioned on a large, quiet & private section close to the main beach. This light and sunny home opens out to a sun-drenched deck from every room via sliding and large stacker doors. Relax reading a book in the swing chair on the deck and listening to the tui sing in the established bush. Fall asleep to the calm running of the stream outside both bedroom doors

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Whare Tatū

*** currently building an extra room and an outdoor bath, estimated completion late August*** This will not affect your stay before that date :) Our private whare is a short drive/walk to Ngarunui Beach. Raglan Township will take you just under 10 minutes by car, or if you’re able, it’s a wonderful walk of around 35 minutes, either along the beach on low tide, or the new footpath that’s just opposite our drive. You will also find Cala Cafe! Our whare is ideal for couples :)

An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.
